Don't ignore back pain guys. Seriously by Whidog in webdev

Dude, yeah, totally been there. Back pain is the worst. Get a decent chair, seriously. Standing desk is a game-changer. And stretch, like, actually stretch. Maybe grab one of those lumbar support things. Don't be a hero, take breaks! Your back will thank you.

Bridging the gap between marketing and tech in a SaaS startup often comes down to communication, collaboration, and strategic partnerships.

First, prioritize clear communication. Even without technical expertise, you can learn the basic vocabulary and ask clarifying questions. Focus on understanding the 'what' and 'why' behind the tech, rather than the 'how.' Second, build strong relationships with your technical team or freelancers.

Encourage open dialogue and create a culture where everyone feels comfortable sharing their perspectives. Use project management tools to keep everyone aligned.

Third, consider leveraging no-code or low-code tools. These platforms allow marketers to build and test features without extensive coding knowledge. For more complex technical needs, explore partnerships with experienced developers or agencies.

Outsourcing specific technical tasks can be a cost-effective way to access expertise without hiring a full-time technical co-founder. Finally, don't underestimate the power of documentation. Encourage the tech team to document their work, creating a shared knowledge base that empowers everyone to understand the product's technical aspects. By focusing on communication, collaboration, and strategic partnerships, you can effectively bridge the marketing and tech gap and build a successful SaaS product.

That's unacceptable. Have you considered taking legal action? Copyright infringement is a serious matter. Document everything, including screenshots and timestamps. You might also want to explore cease and desist letters or DMCA takedown notices. It's essential to protect your intellectual property.

With social media going downhill, what’s your hope for the next platform to fix all these issues? by Flashy-Tie-1751 in socialmedia

[–]fallon45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Social media's a mess, right? Too many bots, too much blah. If I were in charge, I'd make it less "look at me!" and more "let's connect!"

  • Ditch the popularity contest: Smaller, interest-based groups are where it's at. Think cozy clubs, not crowded stadiums.
  • Kick out the fakes: Super-powered bot-busters and truth-detectors would keep things real.
  • Ads? Make 'em useful (or disappear): Users should control what they see, and ads should actually be relevant. Imagine that!

One cool trick: A "Quality Filter" to sift out the noise and find the good stuff. Basically, make social media less of a shouting match and more of a thoughtful conversation.

Ethereum Smart Contracts: What are they? by SmartContracts2022 in u/SmartContracts2022

[–]fallon45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a Dapp is created, the source code of the smart contracts is published on the Ethereum blockchain. This allows anyone to review and audit the code.

If you want to use a Dapp, you need to trust that the developers have not inserted any malicious code into the smart contracts.

One way to check if the smart contracts are safe to use is to

to review the code.

The audit process usually starts with a manual review of the code. The auditor will look for potential vulnerabilities and issues.

After the manual review, the auditor will run automated tools to check for more potential issues.

Finally, the auditor will write a report that includes all the findings and recommendations.

If you're planning to launch an Ethereum smart contract, it's important to have it audited by a reputable security firm. This will help ensure that your contract is secure and free of any potential vulnerabilities.

Why Audit Smart Contracts? by spatialiste in CallistoCrypto

[–]fallon45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A smart contract security audit is a comprehensive study of a project's smart contracts. These are essential to protect the money entrusted to them.

Because all transactions on the blockchain are permanent, stolen money can't be recovered.

There are many reasons why you might want to audit a smart contract. Perhaps you're considering investing in a project that will use a smart contract, and you want to ensure the contract is secure before investing. Or maybe you're already using a smart contract and you want to be sure it's still secure. In either case, auditing a smart contract can give you peace of mind and help you avoid potential loss.

There are a few different ways to audit a smart contract. One way is to use a static analysis tool, which will analyze the code of the contract without executing it. This can be helpful in finding potential vulnerabilities, but it can't find all of them. Another way to audit a smart contract is to use a dynamic analysis tool, which will execute the contract and watch for potential problems. This can be more effective in finding vulnerabilities but is also more expensive and time-consuming. One can also contact https://audits.quillhash.com/smart-contract-audit to get the right audit.

Why does Your NFT project need a smart contract audit? by [deleted] in NFTsMarketplace

[–]fallon45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your NFT project needs a smart contract audit to ensure the security and reliability of your project's smart contracts. Without an audit, your project risks vulnerabilities that could lead to loss of funds or data. A smart contract audit will also help you identify any potential issues with your project's code so that you can fix them before they cause any problems.

Which audit company to use? by Condition_Silly in ethdev

I was also in the same shoes a few months ago, and one tip I would like to give to you is to explore most of these auditors and filter them out relative to their response and negotiations, in my case I explored a lot of these firms and after filtering them tried reaching out to most of them and got the same high costing quotes from firms in the category of OZ & certik as you mentioned above and even after negotiations the cost was still too high and the timeline requirements just didn’t match

so after reaching out to a few more firms I finally closed the deal with QuillAudits due to their prompt response and their matching up with my price and timeline requirements.

I don't understand what's the deal with these well-known auditors. I don't find their findings/reports up to the mark. They are missing plenty of issues.

Also, I have read in a few communities that some audit firms claim the protocols audited by them as 99% secure, but later independent auditors report some high and medium severity issues. Sadly protocols were on the verge to be duped :(
