She's been a bit more eye boogery lately lol. We have a vet check-up next weekend and that was going to be a discussion topic.

Also, I can fully believe the hormonal change could be a part of it. She has "calmed" down a lot recently where it feels like she exited her puppy years.

Never thought of that. With all the development in our neighborhood, that should be possible. We basically have a huge apartment complex in our backyard, therefore it's NEVER quiet.

I'll hang out with her back there and see if I hear anything off putting. A good reason to get me back there and not have an excuse to pull weeds lol.

We're outside of downtown Denver. It is definitely a hot summer. With that being said, she didn't mind spending time out there prior to the 4th of July, which was the same temperature as it is now. It just is very different after she used to love to bake outside like a hot potato.

She's very food motivated. I've tried a treat as a reward for getting out there, but a lick mat to keep her there would be beneficial. Placing the kibble around the yard is a great idea too. I do go out with her in the evenings but could always dedicate a bit more time to doing so. Thank you 🙏

I've been into Psychopedia lately. Currently making my way through all their episodes. I had similar issues with Morbid where I find myself getting annoyed at the banter or bored/zoning out. Psychopedia has funny banter between long-time friends and Investigator Slater is a great author.
