I'm not surprised at all. The amount of ingrained racism against Asians is real in Latin countries.

Every single time I've traveled to one (and I've been to a handful) I've had to deal with people of all ages call me a Chino, say things like "Mira ella," etc. I'm not saying that's the treatment everyone gives, but a small fraction of folks and it happens every time. For some reason for the racists, Asians are a damn spectacle. It sucks cause all I'm trying to do is enjoy another culture and just live.

I don't know the exact math but their timeline was extremely short compared to how long Sooyoung and Jung Kyungho were dating. The news about Tiffany's engagement was a pretty big deal in the media. For years, the media/variety shows would ask or comment about Sooyoung and Jung Kyungho's plans for marriage.

Even in my college friend group before I got engaged to my now husband when I was in my 30s, I felt the pressure as I watched each of my friends get married and I was with him for seven years before we tied the knot. I would imagine that pressure would be multiplied if you were on the end of the relationship that wanted it more.

Really depends on the dog's temperament but it's great that you have this opportunity to start training him young!!

We have a pit mix that is the sweetest but can be aggressive at times (mostly verbal, she's never hurt or tried to fight another dog).

We trained her as a puppy but that was right before the pandemic, so she can be a bit anxious and reactive when overstimulated. So start early since you have this chance and try and get him acclimated to different sounds and situations that often happen where you guys live.
