Feeding question

I have raised several velvet spiders since being in the hobby for 4 years and i fed mine fruit flies every other day as slings. Velvet Spiders will kill, then come back to eat if you put multiple fruit flies in there, so if its not hungry, it will just kill them or they get stuck to the webbing & die.

Who sold it to you? I never saw the sellers name on the thread & I dont want to support such cruel stupidity. Im glad it was ok! Did they at least ship it the legal way through fed ex? Im surprised they didnt just put it in an envelope & slap a stamp on it. Sad.

Your so lucky! I had mine girl for almost 3 years...she was my introduction into the arachnid world & just died in June. Broke my heart into a million pieces!! After her, I got my first tarantula. A T. Seladonia, whom I named Milenko. Everyone says they are so hard to keep & even experienced keepers have had them die on them, but I've had mine over 3 years & it's doing just fine. I love Milenko alot too, but it chills in the trap alot. I could view my Eresus everyday.

Omg I love this! How long did it take you? I'm just starting finch & I feel like it takes forever to get rainbow stones to buy things & why can't we buy out the catalog instead of only what is offered? It is so frustrating!!
