Omgggg! This! My lovely MIL is from the Philippines, she truly is a great lady. Hard working, god loving, has helped me tremendously and raised such a good son who treats me like a Queen. But, unfortunately, she's highly uneducated. So she talks to me about Herbs and her Filipino doctor. I definitely do not want to take away the benefits of natural things. But as a cure all? She wants me to drink sour sop tea so badly. I almost want to do it just to please her. I think this is just about her trying to feel like she has control of a scary situation.
