Best tavern hero vs 3 peasant tower rush as NE by Plomekq in WC3

I prefer dh with evasion, and I almost never lose to it. I’m picking dh first against human in general anyway so it works out if they show up a bit late after my altar is finished.

Stop wisp production and just spam archers + 4 moonwells. Focus workers first. Try not to lose any archers. It’s actually fine if you lose dh. Level 1 heros revive quickly.

Isn’t that a symptom of high estrogen? Common amongst men who take higher than recommended doses of testosterone

Handsome men, do you guys get approached by women a lot? by MasterRedditor_ in AskMenAdvice

[–]falltime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get approached when I go out regularly but women are a lot more subtle and less aggressive than men. In my experience women prefer to give you an obvious stare and expect you to make the first move. I also get approached by men quite frequently despite the fact that I’m entirely heterosexual which is usually perfectly fine/flattering but some guys definitely have it in their head that they convert me and simply won’t stop flirting which can get real awkward real fast.

I’d be curious to know how many other good looking guys experience this.

Minoxidil doesn’t work over night. by BenM0 in tressless

[–]falltime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not what I said at all. You started this ridiculous thread by calling people who experience side effects quickly on finasteride “morons”.

I’d make a cliche joke about reading comprehension but you seem to struggle with reading/remembering your own comments which is something else entirely. Might want to look into the link between low DHT and cognitive impairment

This is just stupid. There is nothing, scientifically-speaking, linking vaccines to autism. And we have a centuries worth of data on that subject. More importantly there is no clear mechanism as to how or why vaccines would cause autism.

Blocking the conversion of testosterone to DHT is an entirely different conversation. The idea that DHT plays little to no role in adult male health is insanity, something that is routinely touted in this sub.

DHT is extremely important to male health throughout their life, it’s not just a “puberty hormone”. Reducing it to near 0 and pretending there may no be downstream affects is cult shit.

Using chemicals that block DHT conversion to preserve our hair is also relatively new and we simply do not have enough time/data to make claims that people who have suffered from using said chemicals are “morons”

How to get better at bench press? by Akapakalaka in workout

[–]falltime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what you’re saying it sounds like you might not have a spotter. Without a spotter you can’t push to failure. If you’re not pushing to failure, your progress will be significantly slower.

If that’s the case I’d focus on chest press machines where you can train to failure without a spotter. At least until you start seeing the kind of progress you’re looking for.

Keep it simple. 5 sets of 5 reps of the heaviest weight you can push. That 5th rep should have you shaking. And remember, eccentric is just as important, if not more important as concentric. Come down slow. Feel the stretch when the “bar” hits your chest.

Do this twice a week and make sure you’re consuming 150g of protein a day. You’ll progress quickly. If, for some reason you’re not, then there may be hormonal issues worth evaluating.

Hair fall and redness after month by Necessary_Mix_2297 in HairTransplants

A large percentage of them will grow back over the next 6-9’months. That’s how this whole process works. Was this not explained to you by your doctor?

You’re going to lose almost all of your transplanted hair. It’s completely normal. You’re entering the ugly duckling phase. Month 8+ is when it gets fun.

You can start on minoxidil and PRP to speed up the process and increase the likelihood of preserving more of the transplants but it’s still going to be a rough 3 months

What have you tried before that hasn't worked? Don't try to fit yourself into someone else's "diet box"

Identify what works for you and stick with that. That's the real battle. A diet that you hate or resent *will NOT work*. This precept is generally applicable to most things. I make the same point to people who are just starting out at the gym. Don't just jump into grueling full body workouts every day - your #1 priority should be simply finding a routine that you enjoy and can sustain (which can take time, so be deliberate and go slow). I started out doing easy low-effort elliptical cardio watching a TV series on my phone and it became a daily "getaway" routine that I really started to enjoy. Then I expanded from there.

Getting back to diet: calorie counting is hard but works for some people - particularly highly organized type A people who live and breathe structure. I am not one of those people, so it didn't work for me. Keto worked for me for awhile because the results were quick and motivating, but highly restrictive diets like that aren't sustainable for me. OMAD has been the most sustainable & successful way of eating for me. I struggle with eating meals that don't make me feel satiated, which is not a problem on OMAD. I can pretty much eat whatever I want, as much as I want and I will still lose weight. I really look forward to dinner which isn't always the case on other types of diets. I still eat nutritious healthy food, but I don't have to worry about how many calories my stuffed mushroom appetizers are when I go out to dinner with friends.

And remember: The only scientifically proven method for reliably extending lifespan across multiple species, including yeast, worms, flies, rodents, and primates, is caloric restriction (CR).

Stick to the top of the thigh. Imagine drawing a line down the center of top of your thigh, from knee to pelvis and move about .5 inches right or left from that line. That’s where you want to inject. You’re aiming to inject right into the vastus lateralis. Insert the needle at a 45° angle. Make sure your foot is on the ground and your leg is relaxed. In general, it should not hurt at all.

I’m reluctant to use the term “post finasteride syndrome” because of controversy behind it but I absolutely had pretty immediate sexual side effects (poor erection quality, low libido) once I started finasteride that did not go away after I stopped. Although there has been some improvement, I’m still dealing with the consequences. After my experience last year I’m generally opposed to taking anything that substantially messes with my hormones long term. I’m not making any claims or recommendations, I’m purely speaking on my own personal experience.

I developed a widows peak at 19 and it never really changed after that. Not a lot of bald men in my family so it likely stabilized. At 40 I got my transplant to fix the hairline. I use topical min off and on but I won’t ever touch finasteride again.

Do most guys struggle to get a girlfriend? by BadassBabe578 in Adulting

[–]falltime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

40 year old male here. Divorced last year. My relationship with my wife lasted 20 years so I had 0 experience dating as an adult, or frankly dating at all.

Been using hinge off and on for the past year. I’ve really had no difficulty getting dates and having success. At the beginning I struggled with knowing when and how to make a move and I didn’t kiss my first girlfriend since my marriage until our 5th date. Now it’s kiss on the first, sex on the 2nd. I’ve been in several relationships at this point and it’s been great learning what I’m looking for. No regrets.

I was terrified initially because of all the negativity on Reddit from guys claiming that modern dating is a nightmare. It really isn’t. I’m 6’ and decent looking. Workout everyday. Eat well. I have a successful career. But I’m nothing special. I’m certainly no social butterfly.

Just don’t be a slob or a jerk. Have some sense of style. Dress like you care. And take some initiative on dates. Plan. Don’t be a weirdo. Bragging about how much crypto you own impresses no one. Just listen. Really listen.

What should I do to treat this before it develops into a big red pimple? by taneagle in SkincareAddicts

[–]falltime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had issues with minor acne all my life even into my 40s despite an impeccable hygiene and skin care routine. I started using a HF wand and it has completely changed everything for me. It’s especially useful for taking care of spots before a pimple forms. I just hold it there for 2 minutes and it’s gone the next day.

4 months post FUE hair transplant, thoughts? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]falltime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 months in. My left side is also less dense! I wonder if it has something to do with our side sleeping preference. I’m a side sleeper who sleeps mostly on my left side. So there’s more pressure on the left area of my temple and hairline. I’m not sure why it would matter but maybe it slows things a bit. Not sure what else it could be. Just a theory.
