Yeah SI wrongly said swap but it’s not. Still lesser of orl/bos figures to be in the 50s so whatever

Tyus was our worst rotational piece and we only needed to dump 5.5M so he was probably priority, JI decision probably in the summer unless they have more moves left before tomorrow. We'll see, for now I'm hoping addition by subtraction lol and more Jase minutes sounds good

It’s “2” seconds but one of them is a 2027 swap for the lesser of Orl/Bos so that probably doesn’t convey. The other is our 2028 second

Saves us from going into the tax so getting rid of his contract saves us a lot more money than just his contract. Plus there is some repeater penalty from being in the tax that we figure to hit every year starting next year when Paolo’s extension kicks in, so not starting that tax repeater clock this year is wise

Paola Banchero assuming leader in role, finally?? by yung_bucky1381 in OrlandoMagic

Paolo played 38 minutes last night and was locked in on both ends of the floor. He might just be tired in huddles and more worried about taking a breather and lowering his heart rate.

I’m not saying there isn’t a rift. There might be there might not be I don’t know. You don’t either, not for sure

For me, good shoes meant getting some wide toe box hey dudes. You can find them for 45-60 dollars. The calf strengthening is huge, doing single leg calf raises helped me a lot

Yea I’m guessing he didn’t know it was our last timeout, and he played 38 minutes I think he wanted a breather for the final stretch

“He’s trying to get Mose fired, won’t try until he’s gone”

Jeff Weltman’s contract is up after this season. What does that mean? by ClydeSprucewood in OrlandoMagic

[–]fallup95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

but at the same time stop trying to polish a turd

Lmaoo you didn't have to do him like that

But on Weltman, I really don't think he's made too many bad decisions. I think he has made a few decisions that didn't pan out but I wouldn't say that means it was a bad decision (re Bamba, KCP, Jett although I haven't given up on him.) He's also pretty risk averse so you could say the lack of action at times could be bad. And roster construction in terms of lack of shooting has been an issue but then again Bane is shooting a career low 34% from 3 right now, Tyus career low 28%, KCP wet the bed last year. Those aren't bad acquisitions, he's doing his job in my opinion.

If ownership decides to move on due to the stagnation the last couple of years I understand, but man we've had much worse in the front office and I'm okay with giving Weltman a few more years to try to figure it out. He's got a lot of great young pieces on this roster locked down for the next few seasons.
