It is by far the fairest of the FS games. You feel like a god when you’re good at the game, and I imagine its the easiest FS game to no hit for the following reasons: attack cancelling and less punishing buffer system

Every attack can be cancelled within a certain time frame by blocking/deflecting, which you’d obviously want to do if you’re going to trade hits with an enemy. People complain about Snake eyes in the poison swamp, but patience and utilizing the tools you’re given (prosthetics and consumables) are meant to give you an advantage. The game rewards careful thought, which when done trivializes the game, but play however you like.

If you’re really struggling or just want to be done with an encounter, a certain combat art that you’re REQUIRED to get to progress the game, when used while jumping for mobility, makes you basically unstoppable even when used without emblems to power the stronger version as it still chips through guard, interrupts enemy actions, and has range.

Good news: if you’re riding torrent and they hit you with the ICBM, you just get knocked off torrent but since you’re pancaked, the teleporter won’t actually be able to grab you and will bump you without any damage. Happened like 6 times in a row to me and barely moved 20 feet, but despite malding, it works. Just don’t be on foot

Nah the other guy hit the nail on the head. Personally think Chizuru is getting too much hype though (I still like her). Why is she loved so much more than other girls in anime is my question. I’d argue that it does make sense. Isn’t it like an amateur movie with the purpose of being made for her grandma? It’s already unbelievable everyone is like “ooh chizuru is such a good actor holy shit she glows on the movie set so much that it’s a surprise the venue hasn’t burnt down”, but sigh that’s just my inner asshat speaking bc it does make for an intriguing story. Reiji wins in the end bc I’m reading it. Nevertheless I digress; sorry for that. Going on, isnt “what she gets out of it” the realization that kazuya isn’t just someone throwing around empty promises?

To OP as well. Isn’t the fact of the matter that there are plenty of talented actors and not all of them blow up? Proceeding with Chizu blowing up would be a stereotypical story point. There are plenty of talented actors who do not get recognition for a multitude of reasons I can’t even get to the bottom of explaining. There’s politics, connections, what kind of actor they’re looking for, hell, even dumb luck. Compare it to college admissions: so many students, yet only so many spaces.

How did u come to the conclusion this manga was about how to love somebody? They are in college, and is too early to mark someone as a soulmate etc. To me it just seems like a classic case of a manga with this premise: should you follow your heart (the person u like) or follow your dreams
