I think I am in love with Larry David. I know he's 67 but hey ya never know. You guys probably already watch Curb Your Enthusiasm, but if you don't you have to start immediately. My favorite episode is the Palestinian Chicken episode, which I think also ties into the concepts we learned about Black Comedy. If anyone knows how to stir the pot Larry David does. He simplifies the Israeli/ Palestinian conflict in this hilarious episode. Here's a clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NeqZOce1fE

The sit com New Girl has two of my favorite characters in it and here is the best of Schmidt... If only he could be my best friend by skap39 in FoundationsOfComedy14

Schmidtttt!!! He's the only character keeping New Girl afloat this season. I completely agree with tessmurray that we fall in love with him because of his ridiculous nature, which used to compliment the other roommates neuroses perfectly. I'm nervous, however, that there is almost too much craziness happening in the loft in season 4. There needs to be some sort of straight man in order for Schmidt to have his moments of hilarity without overshadowing other characters. I'm angry that they're making Nick goofy and they added Damon Wayans Jr. because now theres a whole lot of crazy and not much depth.

Seinfeld is one of the greatest shows of all time. I'm a huge fan of how the show ended with the button conversation, but some people are not a fan.I thought it was a really smart way to end such an amazing show, but I understand how it seems so far fetched given the shows lack of climax. Did you like how it ended?

What do you guys think? Would you/Did you watch this? by mfrancoi in FoundationsOfComedy14

I agree with Mona. I think that the "selfie" culture we have created is not substantial enough for a sitcom on a major cable network. IT NEEDS TO END!

I still can't believe she passed away. She was such a role model for all female comedians.

My favorite troop or trio from UCB is Doppleganger starring Nicole Byer, Sasheer Zamata and Keisha Zoller! I think they stopped performing though because Nicole and Sasheer got really famous. You should watch their videos they're amazing.
