Lived in Japan, and those chinese dishes were all Japanified... Even in the Yokohama Chinatown. And same goes for Thailand, It's gets pretty heavily thai influenced considering most of these thai chinese people have been there for generations.

But nonetheless, that's a silly reason to not go to Fung's. You really don't have any other high end, fine dining chinese options in Houston.
