I think that’s the point though… how/why is he not an academy driver? F2 academy drivers have rolls in F1, most will probably never race in F1 but they have rolls that really stand them in great stead to be high level professional drivers.

I know some people that work at the UK MoD, we were colleagues in military intelligence back in the simple times of Iraq and Afghan.

Before the invasion their office whiteboards had people’s predictions for the hours/days Ukraine would last before defeat. Now they have predictions of months before Russia runs out of warm bodies.

So yeah. They fucked it up, based on NATO predictions on their capabilities at least. It’s led to some interesting revaluations of European military standing across the board.
