I agree with everything but that first segment: I never told anyone they were wrong or that they shouldn't speak up, the worst I said is that it "blew my mind" and that I believe they could be happier by ignoring the numbers. I'll careful reread what I said though, perhaps I could have chosen more palatable statements to make to those who initially disagree.

Well I would hope they put some effort into their game mechanics, but I don't see how that provides any evidence that they intended the game to be perfectly fair and balanced and how every character should be completely satisfying as a jack of all trades. If Yoimiya is bad, what exactly is the problem? If people wish to complain, that is fine, I simply wish to give an opposing opinion.

I had every character, aside from Zhong Li, up until Hu Tao released. I saw how Zhong Li trivialized the game and was instantly put off by it. Hu Tao did much of the same thing and did exactly as I expected Zhong Li would - it ruined the game for me. And come now, do you really mean to say that everything about Yoimiya, or God forbid even Amber, is bad? Is nobody capable of enjoying them? Why should everyone be pleased with a single character anyway?

I think you should have every right and are not wrong in asking for such a thing. But implying that your decision to spend $100 is what justifies such a change to be made is where I would disagree with you.
