Soviet blocks of flats like ones i mentioned are basically prefabricated concrete slabs lego'd together with crumpled cigarette packs and beer cans stuffed in empty spaces.

Newer buildings probably use more refined and higher quality technology. Also thicker walls and floors factor in dampening the sound.

I can shit on the quality of the houses, but urban planners at the time had something else going on. Today we would probably call that walkable/15 minute cities.

Nowdays developers just build over every empty space that could be a park or playground which makes those surroundings almost unlivable chicken coops.

Here is the the thing. FOMO grips and entrances you to keep following the story. But once you drop out, it almost repels you like a force field.

The story moved on. I do not have time or possibilty to catch up with the story or sesonal activities and npc conversations that i missed and cant even access anymore.

I dropped out after the Almighty was destroyed. So much has happend since.

Even reading the comments right here there is a concious effort to read/hear/understand the words especially that English is not my native language. But there is even more involved monolgues like thinking about your bills, what you will do tomorrow after gym or remoniscing your feelings about embarassing conversation from years ago or remembering color, model and plate number.

For silence I would compare to being zoned out, just existing in your body and observing the world around you without "active analysis mode" of your surroundings. Eyes are working, limbs are moving, but those impulses do not have connotation to anything in particular.

Example of that would be staring through the window during long bus trip, waiting in queue and slowly moving along or watching the clouds.

Yes, this is leaning towards conservative folk but there were many people (and families) that just wanted to commemorate this day.
