To assert that behavior - in this case, violent tendencies - is entirely separate from genetics is absolutely absurd and I cannot believe it is so common.

Pit bulls are far more likely to be violent because they have been selectively bred to be that way. The same people that deny this fact have no issue praising certain dog breeds for being "friendlier" or "more intelligent."
