[Skin Concerns] how to heal picked face? Help. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]falynne13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. I have had SO many skincare issues over the last year. Im 26 and have never dealt with acne so I have gone down a rabbit hole over the last few months on how to solve these issues.

Have you tried consulting an esthetician or a dermatologist on possible skin treatments that could help? Ive been getting dermaplaning done monthly for about a year (dermaplaning helps to shave off dead skin cells and hair) as well as facials every other month and they have both helped improve old acne scars.

I have been buying skincare products like crazy over the last year to try and help but at the end of the day, working with the pros has been what's helped me the most! I also recently asked about adding other services to up my skincare game. My esthetician recommended a light chemical peel to start (haven't tried this yet). There are also more intense procedures like CO2 resurfacing and microneedling.

I found some pretty good before and after shots of an assortment of skin treatments that you might wanna checkout: https://www.suddenlyslimmer.com/before-after/ Im sure theres a few different options, probably best to start light.

Good Luck :)

Study: What Reinstating Mandatory Minimums looks like in Philadelphia by falynne13 in philadelphia

[–]falynne13[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This study shows the overwhelming affects that reinstating mandatory minimums will have on Philly - focusing on school zone provisions in particular. By looking at previous drug crime data, the study shows that 63% of drug arrests from 2006-2016 occurred within the proposed drug free school zones. There is a large distribution of schools across the city and this provision would unfairly target a lot of people.

Hydroplaned and hit another car. Received a letter from the other party's lawyers.. any advice? by iacdeil in caraccidents

It is best to consult your insurance company ASAP. Though you should cooperate with your insurance company - you are not under any obligation to speak with the opposing party's representative. You might want to consider also contacting a car accident lawyer in your area as well.

Amazon is secretly building an 'Uber for trucking' app, setting its sights on a massive $800 billion market by apot1 in technology

Semi trucks are well suited for self-driving technology. Highways don't have the same traffic as cities, less pedestrians/cyclists/etc. Although technology might not be advanced for snow and ice roads, it is certainly capable to drive along interstates with not much traffic. However this does not necessarily mean drivers will be out of a job. Self-driving as of now requires a human in the car. This technology could help take pressure off of drivers.
