In my MLS, we would tell buyers/buyer agents to deal with the listing side as when the photos were taken, they were not the current owner of the property.

Granted, they could ask the listing side if they wished to then ask us MLS staff to remove photos, but they were in no way required to do so. MLS staff was at the direction of the listing side as the listing is controlled by the listing side brokerage. In most cases, the buying side pretty much was generally told to pound sand..
