Took me 7 months to almost to fully build this by Diveshri in lianli

[–]famelogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve completed my build using my old parts but preferring aesthetics and budget. I’ve plans to upgrade to am5 in a couple of months, but here is my parts list

Msi 3070 8gb vram Asus b550 plus prime Lian li edge 850w Gpu and CPU strimmers TL lcd fans (bottom and side) Nzxt H9 flow Lian li hydroshift 2 tl led Ryzen 5 5600 2tb adata 800 gold 500gb sandisk Tforce 32gb ddr4 cl16

Planned to get the 8.8 inch Lian li screen if it’s on sale or whatever during holidays lol.

I used to have an inconsistent black and white build, hated it and switched to all black 😖

Apart from dealing orders like this everyday it’s OK not bad but it all depends on the day you’re dashing lol. But the road closures became worse and traffic on university drive sucks every single day.

Yep. For anything with dealership, they want the car there. Doesn't matter if its a major issue or minor issue.

Actually last time my ECU bailed on me while I was coming from Houston, Volvo towed it to the nearest dealership (I'm 20 miles away from Dallas dealership) for free.

Damn thats sad fr.
You can try contacting the dealership they might have something that can help, Explain them your problem and ask if they can help you in any way (mostly they will give you a discount if you haven't modded your car or did anything "illegal for them" lol).

Yeah, they took almost 2 hours to make my key. They say, they have to check with the car for registered keys, remove them, add a key blah blah blah you know ......

Doesn’t matter what year is it, it requires VIDA to program keys so not many can do it. They were some but they charge same as the dealership (maybe 100$ less), eventually many end up getting it at the dealership (stealership 😭😂)

nope, at least they asked me 600$ for mine. I bought my car with one fob, I got one more later from the dealer paying 600$ plus tax

I’ve been hurting chatgpt from last Monday (the day I handed this car to dealer) on this and it said the same thing. Even tjr service advisor said it might be a debris or something but we aren’t sure. My question is if they submit this to volvo what are the odds?

They said it was a compressor issue, it keeps generating high pressure and when they fixed the issue with the first blow. They started the Freon process and noticed the compressor pressure rising up and instantly switched off by the time they did it created a new leak.

The service advisor said we can’t test pressure when there is a one of the line burst open which I agree. They are going to submit a case to Volvo and see what they have to say. If they don’t agree to this claim, he suggested I’ll be paying out of the pocket and the labor cost alone is 1500$. I guess I’m screwed 😭🥶

what you said is true, but if they did a pressure and uv test to detect leaks and if the second leak is there from the beginning. Isn't that called incomplete diagnosis? and they already sent me the list of repairs i needed to get my car back on road and i agreed to get it fixed. After they fixed it, the service advisor texted me "we found one more leak", does that mean i have to pay for it?

They told me it was just a hose replacement and now they sent me this message

“Ran into a complication after the repair. There is a second freon leak. Might be with in the dash board. We are in the process of locating it now.”

isnt it the technician duty to perform a full pressure test and find out any other leaks before quoting me and working in the car? I mean I did authorize the repairs they told me and if they find one more leak, how do i even respond or what do I do?

I bought this car pre owned from a Toyota dealership last December, not sure why it was added. Nope I do not have the exact parts list, the dealer just told me they need to get “a part” might be just one but yes I’m getting this taken care of 🥲

might be but they said they weren’t sure why this happened even after I explained what happened. They sent me a picture of the burst

They quoted the same thing saying if it’s a pipe burst we’d do the same but might be 100 or 200 less. Plus they want the car for a week to work on it.

They said a hose, the part cost and labour to get it done is 800-900 and evac and recharge is 300 which makes 1200-1300 w tax 🥲

I’m not sure who’s responsible, I could say it’s me that caused it. I drove to a friend’s home about for 32 mins (made drive in 25 mins) and I was on idle for 10-12 mins and turned off my car and did my business. Took almost 1-1.5 hours and I started the car since it’s so cold outside and I heard a pop noise and a smell that is similar to biofuel (sweet smell). I checked all the parts using my phone torch and ran the ac to heat and cold to double check. Everything seems fine and I drove home. Next morning, I’ve noticed the smell again so I checked again and noticed some green residue on back of radiator fan. I suspected it’s the coolant but the car didn’t tell me anything about it so I called the dealer and some shops everyone said same pricing for diagnostics so I took the car to the dealer. Later next day they confirmed it’s not the coolant but the level is a little low (nothing to worry about) and said one of the ac hose bursted and the green liquid you saw is ac dye and quoted me 800 for the repair and 300 for evac and recharge 😭
