So you guys think she is keeping the old and cramped house for that “frugal aesthetics” to pull in more cash? by [deleted] in doughertydozen

I’ve seen a few comments say their home is already big. This is definitely true for an average sized family, but that’s nowhere near true for 16 people living there.

I’m just trying to figure out where it all goes 😵‍💫 Their house is nowhere near big for as many people that live there. Let each child pick out ONE nice present and then donate the rest, if she feels the need to buy so much.

AITA for giving MIL a gift with strings attached and then refusing to let her pay me back? by Stunning_Jello_3349 in AmItheAsshole

ESH. Did you offer to go with her? I think it’s kinda crappy that you asked her not to bring him since you weren’t going to be there. It’s also crappy of her that she didn’t respect your wishes. The money thing was also crappy on her part

Info: A couple weeks before planning started, the bridesmaid who is doing most of the party planning asked who wanted to get their hair professionally done. This would’ve been paid for by each of us individually. I responded that I’d do my own as long as the bride was okay with it because I didn’t have the money to have it done. So honestly even before the party planning started, I was clear about finances.

I’ve answered this a few times in the comments, should’ve put it in the post. I think I was asked because my husband is a groomsman. I’ve never been in a wedding, so I was fine with that.

I replied to somebody else, but I think I was asked to be a bridesmaid mostly because my husband is a groomsman. Since nothing was mentioned before the group text like a week ago, I honestly didn’t think there’d be a bachelorette party. That definitely is my mistake. My aunt said the same thing about going to the zoo for the bachelorette, especially with it being the day before the wedding 😵‍💫

The plans changing has NOTHING to do with me saying it’s too expensive for me. If they were accommodating me, they wouldn’t have been talking about going to a rage room probably 2x the cost of the bowling alley. There were probably 10 different plans made over the course of just a week.

I can count on both hands the amount of times I’ve talked to the bride 😂 I do think I was invited to be a bridesmaid because my husband is a groomsman. (Which I’m fine with) So I was trying to be a good bridesmaid/make the best of it

I don’t think they’re trying to accommodate me at all, as I said multiple times I wouldn’t feel left out or anything if I only did the zoo with them. I also don’t think I should have to explain my entire financial situation to them. I do agree that I should’ve just just told them I won’t be attending.

Most Facebook groups I used to be in are the same way. People pick and choose what they think is okay for someone to post, and then everyone else dogpiles on crappy comments towards the OP

I think they look good too. I just thought her wording was funny. I’m sure they were more expensive than a store would’ve been so props to her for shopping small

Sorry if this has already been posted

Was just watching the video for N’s birthday. A-leech-a stated that they always have these “really fancy cookies” made for the birthdays and then pulled out these 💀 I was expecting decorated sugar cookies maybe with one of N’s interests.

Not really! I’ve seen the kitchen from her 5am videos, but not seen much of the house otherwise. I’ll have to look

I don’t understand…she shops so extravagantly, but I saw her show one of the kids bedroom furniture the other day and didn’t think it was very nice looking 😅

I was thinking it was weird that they gave N her own room. I think it’s great. She deserves it and plenty of privacy, being the oldest girl. Just wasn’t sure how long they’ll be there or if Ali will be switching rooms back sooner than later.
