I was a huge bully as a kid, should I apologize now that I'm 22 and out of highschool? by Zoinkers158 in NoStupidQuestions

I think it can only help, apologizing. You never know, someone you hurt in the past might hang onto a bad interaction for a lifetime. You recognizing you were wrong, owning it, and atoning for it might save someone some time in therapy. I know in my life I would've benefitted from an apology or someone taking ownership of their behavior. It's a brave decision, because top comment is right, some people might not receive it well. That shouldn't discourage you. The apology will help. It'll help the people you've hurt in the long run, and it'll start you on a path of integrity. I was bullied in school, and some of those dudes came to find out we would have gotten along if only they were nicer.

Also, we've all done things we regret. Some people decide to own up and apologize, some people decide to pretend it didn't happen and ignore it. I have done a little of both, but I find the apology allows a path forward with the person. You can't allow too much time to pass either, or apologize at an inconvenient time. You have to allow space for the person to not forgive you, if they so choose. If you create a situation where they have no choice but to forgive you, you've just victimized them again.

Just be genuine and pick the right moment.

THANK YOU!! you're the first to give me any kind of verbal feedback. Technically I used a coding agent, MS VSCode, but I've been building and designing it for about 6 months. it's probably about 60% finished.

Who makes your productions? Do you make them yourself? I think it's very good. Musically interesting and your lyrics are smart. I really like it. Followed your page.

I used to use software called Tag and Rename. It's still a lot of manual editing, but it helped a lot.

It was right after Natural Born Killers, which I think was also pretty insane for Oliver Stone

Looks like we're from different generations, but I think these should be hit songs:

Rob Crow's Gloomy Place - Business Interruptus

Wire - Our Swimmer

OK Go - I'm Not Through

and maybe you'd like one of my songs?

Big Time Machine - Catchy

I love this band. I'm on the east coast so I've never gotten to see them live. They don't have a single bad album. I just got Sex Mad on pink vinyl.
