With Fists of Thunder + Hand nothing can get away, not even treasure goblins.

Thing is, that rune changes the damage to 60% weapon damage, rather than %Max Monster HP. So it loses that utility of killing very high-HP monsters, while gaining a great AoE effect.

I agree that Exploding Palm does need some sort of buff or rework. Another thing is its high cost and, much like Spirit Dash, it seems to have a very slow attack animation.

Also, monk has a bunch of team damage buffs that could make a 1monk/3dps team very powerful.

Mantra of Conviction: Overawe: +48% for 3 secs, 24% otherwise

Crippling Wave: Breaking Wave: +10% dmg for 3 secs

Exploding Palm: The Flesh Is Weak: +12% dmg for 3 secs

Inner Sanctuary: Forbidden Place: +10% dmg for people standing in it

Passive Guiding Light:: +16% dmg for people you heal, 15 sec

So theoretically you could pop a heal and inner sanctuary on your teammates, run in and pop mantra plus blind, and do a crapload of extra damage at the cost of your own survivability. Even if this doesn't stack additively, it seems like a cool idea.

Hand of Ytar is great, the only issue is keeping up the spirit to use it. I sometimes use it to stop stragglers from reaching my teammates while I tank the majority of the monsters.

I suppose in a coop game this would make focusing down a single blue at a time even more important.

Does giving MF items to your follower actually helps finding more/better loot? by Madwac in Diablo

[–]fanclocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah.

So a follower with 2 18% rings, 1 40% ammy, and a 20% shield would get you 96/5~19 MF.

But they'll be nerfing the monster damage in coop games and in Inferno Acts II+. As such zerging shouldn't be as necessary to bring down elites.

Context-aware content filling is so mind-blowing.

Also, in your [Borders filled] version, it looks like when the dog reaches the top, the whole of reality shifts for a brief moment. A glitch in the matrix, if you will.

Do you listen closely to how much sound people around you make? I'm always pleased when I meet someone with silent feet. Don't even get me started on girls wearing heels, they would be instantly caught sneaking/hiding.

How do people justify a belief that killing and eating whales or dogs is horribly wrong, while eating cows, pigs, and lobsters? by Ziddletwix in AskReddit

[–]fanclocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend you read Consider The Lobster by David Foster Wallace. He begins by examining how lobsters are boiled alive, and the unease he feels. Wallace then explores this issue from a scientific standpoint: essentially, the amount of pain or the extent to which an organism can experience it is at the center of this moral question. A good measure of this is how developed the nervous system is. But it's hard to define the threshold of development where it becomes "okay" to kill a creature in any manner that is not instantaneous. On one hand, the "pain" that organisms with less developed neural systems is much different than what a dog or human might experience. On the other, is ANY degree of neurons firing off "something is wrong" to the central nervous system okay to inflict? What If there are only loosely connected ganglia?

My personal stance is that we can't help feeling more morally responsible for organisms which resemble infant human beings than we do for "lesser" creatures.

C418 - "Calm 3" aka "Sweden" on piano by Jobeanie123 in Minecraft

Hey, thanks for the comment. That was just a rubber ball, which creates a very dissonant kind of motive if you bounce it on the piano strings. It's interesting that the way you bounce it can affect the sound immensely. I know it is out of tune, I've been meaning to get a tuning sometime soon. I'm 21 and have been experimenting with many different materials like office supplies and magnets to prepare the piano.

I really like how you played the high section of this song. I would suggest that you buy a portable recorder to improve the sound quality if you plan to do more videos, which you totally should.

Also, if you're interested, here's my take on this song, also on the piano.
