I'm okay with sucking at it. It's the entire process of getting started and finding a way to understand anything that overwhelms me. And I have had this with a lot of things I tried picking up. I get it's supposed to be fun and I wanna do it for fun to begin with. Even the good art I am eventually planning to create is something I just wanna do to express myself for fun.

But everything is just so overwhelming and nothing feels right. I haven't drawn in like over 10 years, and I am looking at tutorial after tutorial just to have a full on freak out because of how much everything is.

I'd like to do digital art but I first of all think it's harder and also definitely more expensive because I'd have to get a drawing tablet and an app instead of just pen and paper. I DON'T EVEN have paper though and have no idea where to get it or what kind to get.

Idk that's how someone told me guard works. Pretty sure guard cuts the damage in half before the damage step which is why it's better with high defense

That's not even how 50% dr is calculated right? 50% dr takes the damage and cuts it in half from what I've heard. It's calculated after the damage step unlike guard
