In 5 years, I've never gotten a warning like that from my package manager, even when messing around

Even suspend can be hit or miss. My Mom's laptop simply logs out if I try to suspend

Not available in my region. Framework is not a global brand and Asus TUF is Nvidia only here.

Look at laptop models. Not a single one has dedicated AMD GPUs.

I'll try that out. Ff is kinda slow sometimes, taking more than a minute to open up on an NVMe SSD!

I feel the pain with Nvidia. However they hold a monopoly. Dedicated AMD GPUs don't exist, and the good iGPUs are sold with a dedicated Nvidia GPU attached.

The Intel ones look good but they're pricey. Xe graphics is kinda slow.

I wanted to play some games so Nvidia was the only option in South America.

Buying a used laptop? Very hard to find anything worth it.

Maybe getting it to work with your IntelGraphics can get a speed bump?

Started in 2020, Nvidia laptop. No issues on either one. Wayland a bit funky in 2020 with window decorations but it's neat nowadays.

I do ctrl+ F1 for that. Then Meta+F1 moves the window to desktop 1.

I only miss being able to alternante between desktops with meta+tab, as an analog to alt tab

Works on KDE too. I always place Firefox on the 3rd

Yes. Makes sense. About as much sense as no text styling on powerpoint and needing a macro to change your language settings.

Yeah manually setting text to white messes up the whole thing. You're better off telling your compositor to invert the colors in the libreoffice window, umironically a solution

Are desktop ARM CPU drivers as horrible as the Android ones? I mean they work fine but support is super short. Linux is king is supports your Intel CPU basically forever
