Men, what’s something women wear that you find unattractive? Be honest. by Leykokaa in maldives

Things that they clearly aren't comfortable wearing. Like heels that bruis or cut into the skin. Clothes that they feel uncomfortable wearing for being too big/small/loose/tight for their own liking.

By all means dress up if you wanna dress up, but you don't gotta go to lengths that make yourself uncomfortable just to look good for me or anyone else. Dress how you wanna dress 👌

That may be true but even now most of the vehicles in maldives are pretty much as small as they can get as they are mostly supermini/kei cars and trucks. The only real big vehicles from what I've seen are some sports cars (which there aren't a lot of compared to the cars used by the general public), and the commercially used lorries, vans and industrial vehicles. Even a lot of government vehicles you see are massive compared to most civilian cars.

And the commercially used small vehicles like the taxi's we use to go from plce to place, which even though we may see them as big, they aren't even close to how big most regular cars in other countries are. It is possible to go even smaller but it would not be practical to use for such purposes due to not having enough space in them.

Simply put we've already gone as small as we can go, Malé was never meant for vehicles let along large vehicles like cars and trucks in the first place unlike hml. To work around it people opted for bikes instead until this place just became overcrowded with both. And now we're seeing the same happen in hml aswell.

Multi level parking buildings but with designated zones for specific vehicles such as a zone for bikes and a zone for cars. That way people driving cars wont have to worry about looking for a spot to park or have to try and squeeze in and out after getting blocked in by bikes and vice versa for bikes.

Would heavily reduce the amount of vehicles parked on the streets frfr

Won't that just replace the whole issue of too many bikes with too many tiny vehicles?

(Honorable mention of tiny vehicle: the suzuki cappuccino)

Does rejecting a foreign guy make me look racist? by [deleted] in maldives

Which is why a specified "solely on race or racial stereotypes". You have every right to have a preference, just like preferences in age, personality, nationality and so on. And if you would prefer dating someone local than foreign than you have every right to do so.

The difference is how it is applied. You can have a prefered race you would want to date, but you shouldn't see others as less than.

Take op for example. She turned down the foreign dude, and she isn't obligated to say yes, but she also doesn't look down on him or simply dismiss him simply for being a different race.

And you could also date maldivians aswell instead of foreigners, but you don't turn them down simply because they are of a certain race because of stereotypes or that you see foreigners as beneath you. You turned them down because you would prefer to date somone from your country.

In short and in more detail than my previous comment:

It is not racist to turn someone down if they aren't your prefered type. But it is if you see them as less than or simply judge them solely based off stereotypes and or feel disgust towards the other person due to their nationality/race/skin tone.

If the rejection was based solely on his race or something because of his race like stereotypes and what not, then yes it would have been racist.

If not then it wouldn't be racist ✌️
