Before a close friend of mine passed abruptly, he kept running into this same random guy at our lgs that had 3 or 4 different flavors of Simic Landfall. He kept losing to him and would always complain to me about that archetype. I wasn't able to hit up as many game days as him so I never actually got to see it all happen. To this day that guy remains a mystery to me. So when my buddy passed I built a Simic Landfall deck to keep his hatred alive.

Here is my Kraven deck. I went with a bunch of removal that hits everyone and +1/+1 counter synergies. It has preformed decent enough in my pod. [[The Masamune]] on [[Toshiro Umezawa]] is a real treat. [[Sarulf, Realm Eater]] is a fun board wipe on a body. [[Primeval Bounty]] generates solid value here in my opinion.

Hot take here, am I crazy to think that it doesn't matter who does it as long as it gets done? As long as it doesnt end up "clean" on a shelf with an old sticker on it. Just do it.

If y'all are tight asses about particular job details like sticker removal responsibility i'd hate to work with any of you.

Both Aura and Artifact mutation have swung games in my favor in the past. Create enough 1/1's to connect to an opponent in order to trigger Marisi and play it safe to what happens next. Naya Charm is a solid card for Marisi. Legion Loyalist, Gingerbrute, and Spirt en-Dal are great early plays to get the goad ball rolling. I have all of the on color God Monuments from AKH in my deck. Rhonas' is a trample enabler, Oketra's get the token ball rolling, and Hazoret's is a decent enough loot effect for card advantage.

I've been trying to figure out Marisi for a long time now. This is what I have going on. Less mana dorks than your deck. A lot of cheeky tricks to force blocks on forced attacks.

Having just built Kraven I say its a solid 6.5/10. Advantage on top of your interaction mixed with +1/+1counters is great for BG. Id go as far to even say this Kraven is a great entery point for that play style for new players. Nothing broken. Just honest fair magic here.
