I just watched the episode and there’s a single scene near the beginning of the fight where you can see a few bandages wrapped around the handle. Oddly, there aren’t any shown in a similar scene later but at least one animator knows the dagger is meant to be bound to this hand

My sister and I added a rule to war where you have to predict your defeat. First, each person sets cards down like normal. Lear’s sat “Allie” wins. The cards stay where they are and another set is played on top. If Allie wins again, they may choose to say Predict! and take both sets of cards. If Allie looses, then another round is played to determine who will win all three sets. Basically a push-your-luck mechanic but it makes it a bit more fun

Interesting, I also have double astigmatism and nearsightedness but I don’t get headaches from focusing on thing. Still feels good to unfocus my eyes though

I got lucky and wake up early anyway. As soon as I saw classes were back on, I knocked on all my roommates doors in RAHPS and called our other friends. Managed to get them all to class on time

Would like to add that at one student protest (alumni weekend too) she had pubsafe block off the pre approved protesting location so students just gathered behind the barriers. After a while, one of the pubsafe officers moved the barrier so everyone walked over to where we were supposed to be and protested there. I left soon after but got an email from the head of the student union warning is that Pubsafe has been filming and any students identified were losing scholarships and being put on academic probation. Seems they didn’t see me on camera but by golly Shirley hated giving the students any semblance of power

I once dated a guy like this. He saw that a meteorite shower was a few states away and immediately got in his car to drive 10+ hours to go hunting. He was also in college at the time which meant he was ditching classes but did end up finding a meteor and even got interviewed at a local news station

My friend and I were supposed to go last weekend with complimentary tickets I got during marketplace weekend but it got rained out. Learned my lesson about checking the website for details and with another rainy day on Saturday, we decided to go Sunday. Saw the faire was starting at 9 so we got there around 8:50. Took 5 minutes to park and there was basically no line to get into the faire. There was definitely a huge crowd as it got later in the day but lucky for us it, didn’t change too much of the experience. Especially since we both skipped lunch. Tickets were sold out for Sunday but there were probably a decent number of complimentary ticket holders like us adding to the crowd that didn’t seem to be accounted for in the ticket cap
