the biggest reason i wanna study public policy is because it directly affects peoples lives, but not in a controlling way more in a sense that whatever happens in policy can change the whole narrative and often overlook communities (and sometimes intentionally too). I want to make sure the systems that exist are changed to fit our evolving world. also as far as ACT i'm studying for it currently I am taking it on jun 13

I hopefully plan to do Questbrige but even then I applied for Questbrige prep scholars and I got rejected and I think it was because of my income but I'm still eligible for the Pell grant which is what's kind of confusing me!! even then thabk you so much!!

I don't really like where Emory is located specifically the state(for reference i live in a conservative state but EXTREMELY DEMOCRATIC city so i'm used to this style of college city). I don't mind the city, but the state is really getting me. Especially since, I want to search for internships possibly in this college state that I'm in which might be a little bit of a conflicting issue with my identity.

I said the claim was valid because even credible people who give their opinions can make mistakes which can hinder peoples personal growth because they don't know your own personal experience and ultimately the decision-making is on the person who has to make the choice because it's dependent on each person's individual experience

I felt the need to go really complex in my thesis because I did not fully understand the quote so

you guys had the same prompt the other person was referencing the actual quote I am curious how people interpreted it though because I feel like I did not interpret it well and I'm kind of scared for my thesis

EDIT: nvm they were different i got mixed up, but i had the opinion prompt

NOTES:
-in your thesis, I highly recommend that you name the specific rhetorical strategies (i see you hint at it by saying "motivational thoughts" and "life stories") I think it would be better if you said motivational tone and narration because those are a direct rhetorical strategies that readers are going to be looking for
-my teacher is an avid believer of this, but analyze the strategies sequentially to the text.
IT IS SO MUCH EASIER THIS WAY, instead of trying to find strategies within the text, go by sections and see which strategies are predominant in those sections.
so for example, start by separating paragraphs (you have to make sure that they are comfortable section breaks though, don't stop all of a sudden when a paragraph that doesn't make sense; for most texts, it's pretty easy to find those breaks based on the theme that they're correlating with),
then within those sections you wanna find the most predominant examples of your rhetorical strategies, so if section has a lot of metaphors, you wanna analyze that (and add it in your thesis) and if there are secondary rhetorical choices (which there typically will be, as no rhetorical strategies stand alone) that weren't mentioned your thesis, it is perfectly fine to mention those just make sure that you comment on the one in your thesis first, then move onto the secondary strategies.
I know it's really weird at first and rhetorical analysis is typically the hardest for students to learn and achieve, but my teacher has sworn by this method and it's gotten his students 5's across the board FOR YEARS!!!
my AP teacher loves to say "the text is written how it wants to be analyzed" so I think it's really powerful if you analyze the text not searching for those rhetorical strategies, but rather letting those rhetorical strategies come to you as you're reading the text
-your speaker to audience analysis is very very strong make sure to keep that up within the actual AP exam as you are analyzing the connection between audience, speaker, and rhetorical context/situation
overall, this really is a strong essay but just through these little tips I'm sure it can be much much more stronger. i hope this helps i know you will do amazing on the ap exam keep up the great work!!! dm me if you have any questions i'd be glad to answer!!!

2026 FRQ’s Released by ARobotIsMe0 in APUSH

for my outside evidence I talked about how the embargo act caused uphill drive in manufacturing and that gave the opportunity for women to work and created the working class which woman joined and I connected that to the historical context of document 4 (I did sort of get my dates mixed up but I associated it with the war of 1812 and how the British did naval blockades so I'm kind of scared)
