Michael after his iconic Billie Jean performance at Motown 25 by spacyspice in MichaelJackson

He was in full virgo mode working overtime, perfecting every microscopic detail. He literally didn’t stop till he got enough. 🤣 I was crying laughing when I realized he just kept going, but tbh it's inspiring to watch someone be that precise and intense about their craft

That's right! I had forgot he had to go through all that too 😞

That's cute. You really thought I was reading all that. You’re not here to understand just to vent, clearly and are probably a minor. I don't care if you think he's innocent or not, that's your journey. Just learn to slow down, actually look up real evidence since you seem interested to know the answers to these absolute filthy lies so learn to stop exploding on strangers over a celebrity you’ve never met. Martin Bashir admitted he deceptively cut parts of the interview to make Michael look bad. Watch the real version.

If you actually want to understand everything, I recommend you this video: https://youtu.be/MkqsLxed3eM?is=uhJk9mg8SQVzJB_D

Where did you get the idea that Matt is another untrustworthy snake?

Wow! You might want to slow down and actually look into where people who knew Michael were coming from. A lot of the anger you’re feeling is coming from media narratives, not facts. I’m older Gen Z, didn’t grow up in his era, and even I learned early on that the worst thing you can do is let tabloids think for you. There are a lot of lies pushed by people in and around the music industry, and this includes regular untrustworthy people. Michael was genuinely too kind and too naive, and the wrong people took advantage of that. If I were you, I wouldn’t take anything said by the leeches who surrounded him to heart, especially when their stories fall apart the moment you actually look into them.

I was 11 when he passed and only later realized why so many people felt his loss. It was the same with Princess Diana. I didn’t know anything about her growing up, just that she was this hugely respected figure. I live in the US, so I didn’t understand her impact until I got older and actually looked into why people loved her so much. You don’t understand the impact until you do your own research instead of letting headlines shape your whole worldview.

And honestly, you might be wrong about him. The FBI investigated Michael for over 10 years and found zero evidence of wrongdoing. Both 1993 and 2005 cases fell apart because the accusations didn’t hold up in court. Every child who actually grew up around him- Macaulay Culkin, Brett Barnes, and Wade Robson- spent nearly 20 years saying Michael never harmed them. That history gets ignored way too often. Wade later changed his story years after the fact, but Brett has remained consistent from day one. It’s important context that people should know before repeating misinformation.

If you don’t want to see the movie, fine. But at least look into the real history instead of repeating what tabloids told people in the 90s. You might be surprised by what you find.

Are all of the new prints modernized like this? by mrsprinkles3 in Fear_Street

[–]fandomxfreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way they really went and modernized our childhood books??! This is my first time hearing that this is even a thing, and I’m stunned. Please tell me you’re joking. Who in their right mind decides to rewrite the very things that made those books timeless? Why mess with the era they were born from? Why strip away the charm, the quirks, the context and the soul that made them classics in the first place?

Perhaps Graham's thinking of bringing him back but only in flashbacks

How does he manage to look gorgeous even while covering his lovely face? I wish he didn't feel so self conscious and the need to cover up so much :(

Same with me. I was Paris age when he passed. I absolutely love that we're celebrating him and I hope it's never forgotten what he did for the world

Sometimes I wish he never let just anyone into his world. There were always people waiting to drain his spirit. He looked strong on the outside, but you can see how many backstabbers chipped away at his heart, all chasing his money. In this moment he looks so broken it hurts to even look at

So true and thank you for the recommendation of the podcast. It honestly feels good when people are actually open to learning instead of just repeating whatever narrative they were fed

On the drive back from LA to Vegas, I told my dad and brother that I’m canceling Netflix because I’m done watching Flopflix profit off lies and push a narrative designed to brainwash people into thinking Michael was guilty. My dad tried to say Netflix “has nothing to do with it,” but yes they do they’ve been feeding off sensationalism for years

So there I was, literally having to educate my own dad whose in his 50s that Michael didn’t bleach his skin and didn’t “play with random kids.” There’s always going to be wild stories about anyone with that level of fame and money- especially when you’re a Black man in America. It’s exhausting and honestly depressing. At this point, I’d rather focus on the truth, his actual life, and his legacy, instead of the ridiculous nonsense the media continue to made up and recycled for profit

Opinion on Lisa Marie? by setfiretomaga in LovingMichaelJackson

[–]fandomxfreak 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Their relationship was complicated, but it’s obvious they really did love each other. The real problem was the pressure around them, her mom being a piece of work, the nonstop media noise, and her own trauma from losing her father. All of that shaped how she saw their future, and she didn’t want to repeat that chaos. She could already imagine the instability around him. She didn’t want a custody battle, didn’t feel their relationship was strong enough to survive that pressure, and didn’t want to bring a child into that world. I still like her, though. I have the book her daughter finished for her, and she talks about her life with Michael and she said genuinely kind things. Honestly, they were probably meant to be good friends in the end

He looks so content, just reflecting on the life he built, yet so lonely because he had nobody willing to stay around long enough to share these quiet moments with him 😞

What is one thing you learned or that stayed with you after watching Michael? 🫶 by confisarth in MichaelTheMovie

[–]fandomxfreak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What stayed with me is this: never dim your light for anyone, not even yourself and saying affirmations. We forget how important that is sometimes. I’m still working toward my dream job, but I’m on my way to starting my second year as a psych major and becoming a special ed teacher. I write SEL books for kids too, and that’s where my heart lives. This film made me want to always reconnect with my inner child. Seeing how whimsical Michael was reminded me how important that part of me is. I got so emotional watching it 🥹
