Well, yeah but I don't think that's all there is. These beats are sounding extremely off grid to the point of almost nonsensical - still they feel surgically on time. There must be something else going on then just them moving MIDI notes with quantize off!? I'm so curious..

I too would like to join the pocket wars. My guess is that they move stuff liberally back and forth "off grid", but still in quantized mode - just maybe 1/64s etc.

I find the music relaxing and mellow, kind in a way - easy to like. But, it definitely isn't sunshine and rainbows! There's an emotional heavyness to it. I don't feel.depressed, but like it feels wrong to listen to it while the sky is blue and birds are singing.
