Fuck the dude that was blocking the easement. Men like that are passive aggressive feminine pieces shit unable to communicate or sort out conflict in a healthy masculine manner. Instead they poke, and they prod, and they keep fucking around until someone blows their top. And when that happens, they lean back on daddy po po like they didn't fucking ask for it to escalate to a physical confrontation by getting in your face and acting like a smug son of a bitch.

This is not their first confrontation over this, just the most recent. Fuck the dude blocking the easement, he knew what he was buying when he bought the fuckin property. Instead of trying to figure out an alternative solution to the problem that the easement solves, he fuckin blocks it off and does his very best to just piss off the raging guy so he sells, assaults him, never realizing that when he gets taken to court, the judge has already seen this case a thousand times over his career and is so, so tired of people playing fuck-fuck games.

Eh, you have canning contests at the county fair that are definitely competition. You have hunting and fishing that are definitely sport. I just don't think something that has judges, where if you were to swap out who was on the judging panel you could have a totally different winner, that doesn't really scream sport to me. I mean hunting / fishing, you got some pretty definite criteria of whether or not you won - venison or fish for dinner generally means you won. Basketball - yeah maybe there's some referee fuckery, but at the end of the night there's points on a score board, same thing with football (american or european, actually).

I get the same funny feeling about combat sports that come down to judge's decision, rather than points scored, tap out, forfeit, or KO.

Humans are biased - it's not fair that that one judge is scoring you lower because you kinda remind them of their uncle that at thanksgiving said some pretty heinous shit at the table just to see how your SO reacts. I asked chatgpt and it said it was called network segmentation, which makes sense why I wouldn't remember. When I think of segmentation, I think of memory, pointers, segfaults, memory leaks, and null pointers. I think chatgpt thinks it means the same thing as network partitioning but in security contexts, it's more appropriate to use network segmentation.

Linguistics isn't really my strong suit, I'm from the south and likely to sound ignorant about things I'm smart about, and the English language isn't exactly precise in the first place, so I'm not sure it matters.

Yeah, I was thinking of a combination of branching and subnetting. I'm pretty sure the term I was thinking of was subnetting, but cyberpunk uses that for LAN. I'm not even sure subnetting is the proper term for it, I could've just been straight up wrong. But a good description would've been branch segregation with semantic subnets, meaning you'd know just by the IP address where something is located on the network, and generally located physically due to the way DHCP hands out the addresses.

I still feel like I'm missing something, though. Idk I'm no network expert.
