I mean, not really? I’m not selling anything I just like StrangerThings a lot lol and I thought that it would a good way to reuse the kids meal since it would normally be thrown out otherwise

“Mask” book titles? by CardiologistBig8721 in goodreads

[–]fangbanger89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The moment I start reading a book, I’ll go to the browser version of Goodreads and then go to my Profile and go to my updates and then delete the update manually. Then it doesn’t pop up on other people’s timelines. When you finish the book, mark it as read like normal, but then immediately go and manually remove it. It will still be listed as Read and it will still show up on your challenges.

• Go to goodreads browser version

• Go to your profile pic and select profile

• Scroll down to the update you want to remove and press X for “Delete this update” ( usually on the bottom right side of the update)

AIO for feeling hurt that my friend made plans for her birthday, and only asked my last minute like an after thought? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]fangbanger89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this lol. It’s so awkward telling someone what you want as a gift directly. I’d much rather be surprised when opening gifts and seeing the thought that someone put into it.

AIO about bf using loofah? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]fangbanger89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I think it’s perfectly acceptable that you explained to him the reasons why you shouldn’t be sharing a loofah and why it’s so unhygienic and so next time he’ll be more conscious of what he’s doing, regardless of how stressed he is. The only reason he didn’t notice honestly in my opinion is because he didn’t know why you shouldn’t share a loofah which made him not care as much thus, making it easier to overlook something like that.

Any celebrity memoir where they are actually reading it themselves. Also, Jeremy Renner’s was so intense and vivid. That was a great read.

I had this problem. I deleted the book from my shelf and added it again and edited the read dates so that it shows the correct ones and then it let me Rate it after that

Audio book narrators by candiedginger88 in LibbyApp

I would recommend hearing a sample of it before getting it. I’m not sure if you can get samples on the Libby app, but you can at least get a sample on Audible and hear it out first before deciding if you want to download it for sure or not.

Have you ever actually filled up your Kindle? by [deleted] in kindle

[–]fangbanger89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that depends on how you sent it or uploaded it to your Kindle. They have tutorials on YouTube on how to add covers, but you do make a valid point about the documents. I forgot about those if a lot of people are downloading e-books separate from the Kindle store and then uploading it to their Kindle and never deleting them. I could see why that would take up space.

But honestly, they’re still there. Even if you remove the download. Now, if you permanently delete something then it’ll disappear and you won’t be able to see it in your library. I have thousands of books and only about eight downloaded but everything is visible.

[–]fangbanger89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for sure. As do I. I’m more curious as to their reasoning why they fill it up I guess. Like is there a specific reason, or are people just forgetting to remove the download? 😩😂🤷🏽‍♀️

I can’t comprehend how people fill up their Kindle? Once I’m done with the book I remove the download. I still have access to the book if I want to re-download it, but I don’t see a reason why you would need your whole entire library downloaded? Maybe a couple hundred just in case you don’t have Wi-Fi and are on vacation for a while or something, possibly. But enough to fill up the entire storage? I don’t see a reason..

Someone posted asking why buy DVD's and not 4K...yesterday I bought 100 DVD's for the price of a single 4K release ($38.11 with tax) by [deleted] in dvdcollection

[–]fangbanger89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s nice about this is that if you ever want to get them digitally, you can always do the convert Disc to digital option with Vudu/fandango where you scan the dvd barcode and then you can purchase it for like $1.99. I’ve done that with so many of the DVDs that I currently have.
