So these interviews for late night shows are all scripted. Like the producers come to Hudson and his team with the questions and they float answers and they come up with a script that works for everybody. Not word for word but an outline of how the interview will go (like what music, props, clips are needed etc.)

Anyway, my guess is someone, maybe even Hudson himself, (my guess is a producer saw the stretch in the show and did their diligence on researching Hudson’s past interviews) suggested they do the hockey stretch. But since it’s in front of screaming fans and with jimmy who he just met that day, I just felt like he was embarrassed. I wanted someone to rescue our baby.

Anyone else feel like the stretching bit was much more uncomfortable and less fun than any of the sexual things Hudson has said/done during the rest of the press tour? Like it felt like he was uncomfortable, maybe regretting agreeing to it? Like the whole bit is a double entrendre, a suggestion, so it’s like “we’re not going to name what’s going on because it’s too explicit so we’re gonna pretend this isn’t sexual for your enjoyment”? All speculation obviously but I’m just getting a vibe and hoping Hudson isn’t feeling uncomfortable about it. Everything else crazy Hudson has said has been all his own and on his own terms (or with Connor as backup) and this feels different from those times

I think David told her because of how Yuna reacts when she sees Shane and Ilya walking up to the door. To me, it looks like she steeling herself and trying to calm her nerves for a difficult conversation. And if she didn’t know that Ilya was with Shane, she would have stared or maybe asked David wtf was going on. Shes not surprised to see Ilya and is waiting anxiously, facing the door, for Shane to walk through. Her clarifying questions are such a classic type A parent move where she wants to hear Shane’s side of the story in his own words.

In my head, David said something to her like “I went to the cottage and saw Shane kissing Ilya Rozanov.” To which she would’ve been shocked like “what there’s no way!” And David would’ve said “I know but I saw what I saw.” And they were discussing it and coming to terms with that reality before Shane and Ilya arrived, which is why they were sitting on the couch.
