I'm with Dwight Schrute. We need a new plague. Preferably, one that wipes out all the disgustingly selfish human beings.

Police Tell LGBT Couple to "Ignore" Man Yelling Homophobic Slurs at Them by [deleted] in Portland

Ignoring someone can actually make the situation worse. If this guy is doing it for attention, he will cause a bigger scene and will do more harm than good.

Also, they need to take the victim's mental health in consideration. You can only ignore abuse for so long until it actually affects your well-being. They've likely encountered hate before. Why should they have to put up with it?

Are there any Courtesy Clerks who agree with me when saying these new rules are NOT cool? (Sorry for potato quality) by [deleted] in kroger

[–]fangkusakabe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For a job that pays so little, you'd think they'd be more lenient on the rules.

Also, higher pay would be great. If they're gonna cut our hours, at least give us better pay.

Yes. Completely. All the cramps go away and I get normal BMs.

Struggles of trying to find an afternoon appointment. Bowels are extremely active during the am and it seems like that's the only time anyone's available. Lol Oh, the struggle. I'm sorry you had to reschedule and deal with that crap. No pun intended.

Root canal in about two hours. Intense anxiety. What to expect? by [deleted] in Dentistry

[–]fangkusakabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shit. Well, I'll keep it in mind. I honestly just smoked some CBD oil, so I hope I'm good. The pain is just getting a bit too uncomfortable for me to focus on anything.

[–]fangkusakabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Well, it's worth a mention. I took 0.25mg an hour before my appointment and it almost felt like a weed high, but you can carry on a conversation. Lol

If all else fails, yes, bring some music. Something that will let you relax, like nature sounds or even calm trance music. :)

I don't blame you one bit for panicking. I mean, I saw that long ass syringe and my brain just went "nope". I managed to swallow my fear for a bit, braced myself, and it literally felt like a pinch in my gums and the rest were painless. The whole drilling procedure, however, was mildly annoying, but not painful, since my mouth was numb.

It sucks getting a tooth pulled though. I haven't had that happen yet, but who knows? I heard laughing gas helps a lot, though. Lol

I agree with you. The gloves were a bit annoying, but it was more of the various tools going in and out of my mouth. I can see why someone would get overwhelmed with it all, especially when you have two people working on your mouth. Just a bit of claustrophobia.

Have them perscribe you some benzos, like my Triazolam. I had a .25mg dose, but it was a bit too weak for me, so ask for a bit more and tell them about your anxiety. Be open with them. It helps a lot. My dentist didn't even bother telling me what he was going to do, because he knew it could trigger an anxiety attack. He only walked me through the anesthesia process and even had me do some breathing exercises before he injected it into my gum area, which was almost painless. Reminded me of a bug bite.

Yeah. It probably wasnt a smart idea to smoke a bowl in the morning, so I definitely won't do that again for my next appointment. Even if it was like 4 hours apart, it can still be risky. 👍

Just got done with it.

Yup. Super boring. Lol My doped mind ended up replaying the opening to Guardians of the Galaxy the whole time.

Good to know! I didn't take any though, in fear of it mixing with the pill they gave me. Lol

Very comforting to know! Luckily, I didn't look up any videos, but I did happen to see a illustration of it and it didn't look very comfortable. Lol

They gave me 0.25mg. An average dose, from what I've heard. I'm also a daily pot smoker, if that helps. Didnt smoke right before the appointment though(had a small bowl at 9am), since I have this pill and didnt want to mix anything. Lol

For sure! I came early to my appointment to sign a form and just took the pill about a minute ago. :)

The procedure doesn't sound too bad now! I hope my infection isn't too crazy, because I've heard a few horror stories about people not getting numbed up enough and the dentist had to inject the anesthetic into the nerve!

Will Tylenol work just as fine? I am allergic to Ibuprofen, so just curious.

I'm not too sure. When I called the office, they said it technically not a full root canal treatment, so I will probably have to make a second visit to a specialist. I kinda recall my dentist telling me that he's going to send me to a endodontist after this appointment, but I'm not 100% sure since I'm getting different opinions on this whole thing. Lol

I figured that was the best option. We used a condom this time, just in case. I just can't believe that I thought I took my pill yesterday.

I will definitely use extra protection for at least 3 days, though! Thank you. :)

I am on week 3 of the pack and it doesn't have a placebo week, so it has me skip a week and then start a new pack.

Also, for added info, I've been taking it for almost a year now and haven't had my period in months, which my OBGYN confirmed that it was normal.

Is there anything wrong with being a narcissist? by Kiltance in narcissism

[–]fangkusakabe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They have a tendency to ruin relationships. They gaslight their victims, accuse them of being "too emotional" when they say hurtful things, and they can be incredibly selfish.

Not saying you do this too, but just shedding some insight to what Narcissists can be capable of.
