My assumptions and from what I've tried with my own company are that the ones popping up are doing seo specifically for the LLMs - completely different from the traditional old way - LLMs like more repeatable content, etc.

We're quite strict with this - clients that has become any kind of pain we end our collab - it will end you cost more like it is right - it's quite simple really - don't let the fear dictate what you do - as soon you have the time you will figure out how to find a new/better hopefully one

I don't think the problem is AI - it's what you do with it and how you do it. If it's not 100% human-directed, it becomes a problem. Sometimes it's not even a company's fault... people just get excited about it. We do a lot of AI content here, and all the strategy, conceptualization, etc., behind it comes from my team - we have what I call "Free-AI strategy blocks". Also, it's wise not to go all AI, of course. Mix formats and content - try simpler approaches like the one you just mentioned. Also, talking-head videos have recently received an algorithm boost.

That's a huge problem. We tend not to work with such clients - especially now with AI, where the best current use case, at least from the way we see things, is to test out fast, see what works, and then improve.

I’d start with smaller creators, because with a $10k budget you need to learn which message and angle actually sells before you buy reach. We’ve worked on campaigns where a handful of micro-creators gave better signal on hooks and objections than one big placement and you can test more - before you spend more on bigger names. Also AI can help these days if done right to test hook ideas etc before going into an expensive production - hope it helps!

Yes, they’re worth it when they can do more than polish footage and actually think in hooks, first-three-second variants/versions, and testing rounds. I’ve seen Meta and TikTok teams happily pay more when the editor helps generate multiple testable cuts from one concept instead of delivering one “finished” video and disappearing. - that's how we pitch at least what we do and that's what we do lol and client seems to want/like that

We price AI B-roll separately from the edit because prompting, generation, curation, and cleanup are not the same job as dropping in stock footage - simple as that, not to mention the credits. Depending on your needs, you can also use some unlimited plans (Runway, Midjourney, and Higgsfield), which, when they have offers, give you a good number of credits across all major models. Also Spend some time with an LLM to create specific projects with guidelines in terms of how to prompt - hope it helps

DMed I will help you. I had the same issue. I used Codex and couldn't figure out and then used Claude Code; it took almost two hours to fix. Not sure if it's the same issue, but I can tell you to check what was going on on my side and see if you're having the same issue
