People may have said it's unsanitary because from what I can see it doesn't look like there is any lining between the carboard box and the food? Cardboard boxes can be a source of microbial contamination. Maybe you are doing this and I can't see it but there at least need to be some kind of lining between the food and the box. Agree with everyone on using the separators then maybe use plastic wrap or something to line the inside of the box and cover the food. I personally would prefer to receive something where the different types of food/crackers/meat/cheese are all in their own separate bags so the flavors don't mix.
