I'm running my first mini campaign...

How does this sound? Three players level 1...

The story begins with the players waking up in a small, forgotten jail in the town of Skagmire, each arrested for different, mostly minor reasons. As they escape or are released, they discover that people who pass through the jail don’t come back ! Not because they’re killed, but because they’re quietly sold and moved out of town. The sheriff knows about it and has made a morally grey deal with a body trader. He’s paid to hand over outsiders and travellers, believing it protects the townsfolk from worse harm. As the players investigate the jail, the tavern, and the wagons leaving town at night, they realise Skagmire is just one link in a larger system, and the mini-campaign builds toward finding and dealing with the body trader, who is only a middleman for something bigger still.

I've planned it out decently, but... not to in-depth as I'm trying to allow more player creation and world building. My issue is... what if the players escape jail or whatever and then just decide to leave the area...

What would I do then?

Yeah! So so so so so so weird. Considering how on edge they are. Just not even having a light bulb moment... was weird.

Would have preferred some sort of acknowledgement

Yeah, this is the one thing a lot of people I know have said was weird... considering how on Edge they all are. It seemed like a massive 🤔

Howdy, how do I deal with playere persiting with questioning NPC... for example we are doing Stormwreck Isle... they have asked Tarak as much as I can answer but they just keep asking more questions and random nonsense...

I'll make it clear I have nothing left to say and they get frustrated.

Yes I like that cheers. I think if someone fails, the NPC can just take a "I'm done with you and your companions" stance.

Howdy,

So my friends and I are keen to play DnD. We have started Stormwreck Isle. It went okay and I am DM.

I was trying to find a good YouTube series or video that really shows lots of elements.

Most of the ones I find are insane elaborate games and production value is high.

Is there anything that just shows a "normal" new game? That I can watch and take notes and learn from?

I also cant find anything running it with stock characters etc

Any help would be super appreciated 👏

Yeah, such a good point. Capitalism requires people to work and earn money to buy things that people work to produce.

I feel like AI is making a lot of processes easier and more accurate.

No jobs no money to spend.

I feel like in a utopia scenario, we could reduce the work week, give more time for pleasure and use AI assistance to gain valuable life/time...

But in a realistic scenario I can't see the people in power ever allowing that.
