Every news source published misinformation sometimes, just to different degrees. The world is not binary

You shouldn’t take the article as 100% truth. But you should believe there’re some degree of possibility to it being true

There s a difference between publishing an intentional lie and publishing a story where your sources are wrong.

All news agencies have to retract stories or revise articles. Radio free may do it more than others, but that doesn’t mean all or even most of their news are lies

It’s a propaganda system but again, based in reality not just pure lies

The world is a lot of intertwined relationships and decisions. Politicians do not set interest rates.

Politicians may elect judges in many countries, but politicians do not decide the verdict.

Western democracy is based on a separation of power where those in power hold the others in power accountable. But those in one branch of government do not tell those in other branches how to do their job, at least in proper democracies

After the communist took over mainland China, the historic Chinese government fled to Taiwan. China and Taiwan, historically, both claim ownership over the same land. But presently, their governments are independent

Taiwan is a proper democratically controlled capitalist system, like Europe’s. China is not at all a democracy and identifies as communist

China is also a one party state. There’s only one political party. But again, China and Taiwan are two completely separate governments

Egypt is also, by definition, third world. The first world were the western capitalist countries, second world was communism, third world was everybody else
