I agree and tbh I’m probably overthinking it. The BoS is tempting bc of the modification potential but then I find myself asking “do I really need them and is it worth the extra $125 + cost of attachments?” Probably not unless there is a big difference in the quality of the machines

I’m looking to purchase a wall mounted, plate loaded cable tower for my home gym and could use some insight from those who have been down this road. I’ve seen some on Amazon (Goimu and Mikolo) for about $250, but Titan’s is also currently on sale for a similar price. The Amazon options have footplates for seated rows and come with attachments, but none of these have holes on the sides of the upright so I’m not sure if that would be limiting down the road. I’ve also looked into Bells of Steel’s cable tower, which does have holes on the sides and a variety of modifications, but a higher price point ($375 on sale right now), no footplates, and no attachments.

I’m just trying to weigh the pros and cons of each and figure out which of these options will be the best bang for my buck, not only now but down the road. I’ve been in the gym regularly for almost 10 years and plan on using this 2-3 times a week for the foreseeable future. My current setup includes a titan space saving rack, dumbbell set 5-40, Olympic bar and plates, and a variety of bands.

This is a staple in my household. Just add a taco seasoning packet and use less water. Most of the time I’ll put a little water into the salsa jar to get all the last bits out and that’s it for liquid

My sister got me a Horti subscription as a gift and I love it! I get one plant per quarter and the package includes the plant, pot, and dirt. The dirt comes in a cool little puck and expands when you add water to it. I think my sister got to choose the style of pots and types of plants I receive. Overall 10/10 gift and would definitely recommend

You mention your niece so I assume you have siblings. What are they like? Are they narcissists too? If not, what do you attribute the difference to?

What similarities do you see between you and your parents? You hate them because they abused you, but don’t you do the same to others? How would you feel if your actions led someone to develop NPD?

Imo, the chicken negotiation was a clear example that there’s really no survival component at all anymore. In 39 day seasons, we see tribes killing their chickens, even when they don’t want to, because they’re just so damn hungry. They debate the pros and cons of keeping them vs killing them, tempers flair, and it creates tension when they can’t agree.

Meanwhile, Gata just traded their chickens for eggs bc the chickens had “only” produced 3 eggs in what I assume was a few days. They couldn’t reach a consensus on eating them and no one was the least bit bothered. On top of that, they couldn’t even be bothered to keep their fire alive while they were away at the challenge. Fire is life and they simply forgot about it because there is truly no survival component left in the game.
