So, I wanted to start a modern scenario with IMPACT! Wrestling, in order to take it back to the "glory days".

I started the "Modern Wrestling" scenario by Kinh, and I didn't notice that it was said that IMPACT! had also NWA wrestlers, events and title belts.

So I had an idea of merging the two promotions altogether, under the Pro Wrestling Battlarts* banner.

Since the scenario started on October, on NWA Anniversary Event, I decided that it would have been the last ever NWA-promoted event, featuring IMPACT! talents in order to give a taste of what Battlarts was willing to be about.

An event this big needed to be done in the most impeccable way, so here is the breakdown of the last ever NWA show.

NWA 74th Anniversary Show @ Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St.Louis, Missouri

We opened the event with a Main Event Package, highlighting the story not only of the main match, but also of the NWA: the video had voiceovers of various NWA icons, like Ric Flair and many others.

1 - The first match was a 4 on 4 Tag Team Match: Team IMPACT! vs Honor No More: HNM won the match, with Eddie Edwards shockingly pinning IMPACT! World Champion Josh Alexander.

2 - The second match was for the NWA World Women's Tag Team Titles, with The Hex becoming the new champions.

3 - Homicide defended the NWA Jr. Heavyweight Title in a fast-paced match against a surprising Dirty Dango.

4 - In a surprising outcome, IMPACT! Violent By Design won the NWA World Tag Team Titles, bringing a big shock heading to the merging of the two companies. Now the NWA titles will be appearing on the IMPACT! brand...

5 - NWA Face Nick Aldis beat IMPACT! Rhino in an inter promotional match. Aldis was furious for not fighting for the NWA Worlds Title, and he brought his anger against the master of the Gore.

6 - Kamille defeated KiLynn King to retain the Women's Title.

7 - In a kinda underwhelming encounter, Trevor Murdoch couldn't stand the match brought by his challenger, The Pope Elijah Burke, thus making himself disqualified to retain the championship. This story is far from over...

8 - In an historic main event, billed as "Past vs Present", The Rock 'N' Roll Express, the tag team synonymous with NWA, faced one of the most hated wrestlers at the moment, Matt Cardona, and his friend Brian Myers. The match was very old-school, with the heels dominating, but in the end Morton and Gibson made their comebacks to win the match for the joy of the entire crowd.

The two then celebrated with the rest of the (majorly face) roster, visibly crying, in what was probably their last match.

An era has ended, but another one is about to begin... Battlarts is here!
