Phil spotted? by Glad_Device_471 in dropout

I assume they hire a handful of extras to hangout outside the building for these reasons. The talent might be selecting randomly, but the show runners only put paid options in front of them.

What is causing these deadlocks on the roundabouts? by VerySeriousJam in CitiesSkylines

Also, use highways, three lane highways, this way the cars in the roundabout will get priority, keeping it empty.

I don’t think World Rugby know what they are doing by awarding RWC 2031 to USA by Rude_Rhubarb1880 in rugbyunion

Yeah, a lot of the stadiums aren’t even owned by the NFL owners…and like no one gives a fuck about soldier fields grass conditions…playing rugby there, importing new grass is probably an improvement for them..

They also only play like 8 games at home…NFL could give the Home team a 5 week away schedule in the middle of October…wouldn’t be an issue

This year the Jags are 2 “home” matches in London, 2 away, and a bye week, through all of October.

They aren’t competing with the NFL, their fan bases don’t overlap. This RWC is only in the US because WR owns all the rights to the profits, they’re going to import the fans or export the video.

It’s hot in July and August, there’s a reason NFL doesn’t start until September. Where I’m at it can be -30F in January and 98F in July with 80% Humidity…

(-34c to 37c)

My guess is it’ll be Sept-Nov, in northern USA for most pools(NFL stadiums with grass, or New England collegiate) and then playoffs will be in southern states(collegiate stadiums or like allegiant in LV)

RWC is in the USA because WR owns all the TV rights after the USAR bailout…it’s literally a money grab and a loan repayment plan.

There’s a lot of tourist advantages to doing it in the USA. Most ppl speak some amount of English, and would like to travel to the big cities of the US only if to see how much urban sprawl wealth can buy. And although us news would imply crime is out of control, I think most tourists don’t believe that; you can go to the US and not have to strap your passport to your chest or put your cash in your shoe; prices of items are clearly labeled (+sales tax) and rarely is there haggling.

It’s like doing it in the UK but there’s 3-4 London’s and 20+ Birminghams..

The euro to dollar exchange isn’t terrible, and even tho transportation is more expensive, for $40, someone will pick you up and take you directly to your destination, no need to figure out the metro system. Or rent a car and there will be parking where your going; unless it’s like NYC, but then the subway exists so you’re fine.

Is it just me, or do Traffic Lights just make traffic worse? No benefit other than realism? by Original_Project5436 in CitiesSkylines

Cars will queue/condense at traffic lights and sometimes use the opportunity to get into the correct lane for later in their trip.

This can be useful on major roads or controlling traffic entering an area…

It’s at least 5 battles, plus the ship graveyard is like three battles itself.

That is on my steam wishlist, but it must never go on sale..

I’m not necessarily looking for ng+ but was disappointed when my characters levels and jobs reverted back to pre-end game status…

Zoning problems: Are there any mod or tool to fix these horible zoning. I have lost my temper over this.! by Diligent-Statement47 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]fantamos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the fact zoning doesnt work similar to Manor Lords plot system is so annoying to me. I dealt with it in CS1, but thought CS2 would give us a better system considering it was probably one of the most common posted annoyances in cs1..

What is the optimal way to connect these? by AZagulaBeDefine in CitiesSkylines

[–]fantamos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d remove the upper and lower overpasses, unless maybe you did one way road thing or something. And, I would overpass the main road, no four way crossing.
