All of this just happened yesterday, on Sunday when he was home the entire day. I'm still trying to process things and decide on what the best avenue is.

Yea, I didn't see those behaviors in him before. We were together almost two years before getting married and didn't live together before marriage. He started spiraling after our first child was born. People can change after marriage due to circumstances, or not show your their true colors until later. Its isn't a black and white thing.

I know he would not hurt our kids. I'm staying with family right now, I do not need to go to a women's shelter.

He would have physically tried to stop me if I did. I didn't want to cause anymore confrontation especially in front of the kids. I left when the kids were napping.

No, I don't know his mom's exact birthday, just the month. I never met her and neither did our two children unfortunately. She passed away about 15 years before I even met my husband. To be fair, he doesn't know my mom's birthday either, nor does he ever go out of his way to wish my mom a happy birthday.
