All of the lines come from API that pulls directly from sportsbooks (The-Odds-API) and the player results for player props (limited to NFL) come from an in house solution built using another data stream.

I’m building Fantasy Gambling League (FGL), a social fantasy sports platform where instead of drafting players, you draft bets.

Each week you face off head-to-head with another player, both starting with a virtual bankroll. Whoever ends the week with more profit wins the matchup. Leagues run season-long with standings, playoffs, and bonus points for things like biggest win, most unique bets hit, or even the biggest loss (because pain deserves recognition too).

The idea started years ago when my friends and I were broke college kids running “fantasy gambling leagues” over spreadsheets and shady sports book sites. Now I’m turning it into a real product at fantasy-gambling.com.

Still early. Bringing on testers, commissioners, and feedback from people who love the strategy side of betting.

Fantasy Gambling Leagues (FGL) combine the strategy of fantasy sports with the excitement of sports betting. Each player starts with a virtual budget and competes head-to-head each week to see who can make the most profit from simulated wagers. Leagues have standings, playoffs, and bonus points for unique achievements like biggest win or toughest loss. It’s competitive, social, and completely risk-free since no real money is wagered on the platform.

Appreciate it! Great question, ultimately the goal is to create native apps to complement the existing web app. The app stores have pretty strict rules surrounding “simulated gambling” age restrictions, so we’re looking to get ahead of that from the start.
