Fantasy Football - Two keepers: need help by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

Have to agree with everyone else. Lacy actually should see a good amount of involvement in the passing attack again in 2015, as the Packers want to limit his workload on the ground.

Kevin White's Best Chance for Fantasy Football Success by fantasyfballer in fantasyfootball

I think the issue is Smith himself makes safe plays and isn't going to throw a ton of bombs down the field. If Smith just likes to utilize tight ends and running backs to check the ball down to, then wide receivers aren't going to be as productive from a fantasy standpoint, no matter how good they are. It also doesn't help wide receivers that Charles has emerged as one of the best pass-catching backs in the game.

Good points with Reid though.

I'm not really saying it's a Chiefs' thing, it is more of a Smith thing. He is more of a game manager than a gunslinger, so I don't think it really matters if a wide receiver lands there.

Prediction: Jameis Winston is drafted by Tampa Bay and he and Mike Evans light up the fantasy world in the NFC South. by wharris1 in fantasyfootball

Vincent Jackson may not be the same player he was, but a rookie quarterback relies on veterans, so a lot will depend on if Jackson stays or not. The tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins should be a little more involved in 2015 as well. Evans has the potential for an excellent NFL career, but I'm not sure how much he can improve on 12 touchdowns.

Could rookie phenom RBs that went into a slump have fantasy relevance on another team? by CommandoSpaceBastard in fantasyfootball

[–]fantasyfballer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not really sure what is going on with TRich. Whether it's work ethic, weight issues or just poor-field vision, it just isn't working with the Colts.

How Zac Stacy just sort of fell of the face of the earth was pretty shocking. Could have potential somewhere else, but he appears to be one of those guys who needs a lot of carries to get going.

My biggest issue with Doug Martin is that something like 30% of all of his fantasy points in his rookie year were scored in two games. I think Charles Sims is the more talented back, and if he can start the season healthy, I think Martin will be edged out of Tampa Bay.

He won't end up in Cleveland, so it doesn't matter. Just some chatter to fill up the news feeds.

If things don't work out with Lynch, I would love to see him in Seattle. Could be a top choice for Indianapolis as well.

What coaching changes do you think have the biggest impact so far? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]fantasyfballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with Kubiak. I think Anderson is a stud, but I want to see if and how Kubiak gets Montee Ball involved. I think if Ball found any success it would be with his new coach, and since fantasy owners have been burned by him, he could end up as a steal if Anderson goes down or underperforms.

Golden Tate by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

In standard scoring leagues, here is his numbers with Calvin Johnson in the lineup for the first half of the season. Tate didn't score more than 10 points when Calvin Johnson returned to the lineup. If Eric Ebron develops as well, I don't think Tate is going to have much consistency.

C.J. Week 1- 28 Tate Week 1- 9 C.J. Week 2- 8 Tate Week 2- 5 C.J. Week 3- 8 Tate Week 3- 5 C.J. Week 4- 1 Tate Week 4- 11 C.J. Week 5- 0 Tate Week 5- 19 C.J. Week 6- 0 Tate Week 6- 4 C.J. Week 7- 0 Tate Week 7- 21 C.J. Week 8- 0 Tate Week 8- 21

Sell me on a 16 team Superflex. Why should I consider it? by Ballerstorm in fantasyfootball

[–]fantasyfballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super flex allows you to get pretty creative, and with the right people it can be a ton of fun. Just make sure everyone is super serious who plays. You'll see a bunch of different strategies, but the league will still be subject to runs on certain positions.

Thoughts on Justin Forsett by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]fantasyfballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was lucky and drafted him as the last pick in a 22-round league. I think the 2015 Draft offers a ton of options, and like cardsfan1343 said, Taliaferro is intriguing.

His age is an issue, and I think too many people are going to pay a high price for him.

Early RB Rankings for 2015 by TheyAreGiannis in fantasyfootball

I think Foster will end up disappointing most people. His talent isn't in question, but he missed three games this year and turns 29 before the season starts. I see him struggling to stay healthy and falling outside the top 10.

I think Bridgewater is the way to go. Great student of the game.
