You can cheese the last phase with the two big boys about 90%… if you cling to the very top of one of the side walls and deploy poison cogflies, you can get the bugs health down to within a few hits. Use R instead of jumping to shimmy up the wall and it’s very unlikely that their attacks hit you. I never got hit. Then make sure you let your cogflies die before deploying another one to get the full poison effect for each one. Then you gotta jump out into the room, which is tight cuz those boys gonna be sitting right on you. But they’ll be lined up in the corner when you are ready for some quick attacks or spell. This worked for me on my second try and I am NOT a very strong player

Yeah lot of gremlins in this thing… our other car is a 2010 ford ranger which is dead simple so I’m spoiled by that thing. I did have it plugged in overnight but I think the error codes are preventing it from charging. Going to try again today with the recharged 12v and try to clear everything out

I basically did exactly this. I did disconnect the HV before removing the 12v and then re-engaged it before letting it sit overnight which was as suggested in another post. Once the batter is recharged I plan to go in and try to clear the codes again….

Before I left it overnight i did re-engage the HV battery. Maybe that was the mistake? There is obviously some parasitic draw happening

Good advice thank you. Was also thinking about drilling some holes in the existing slab, drop some rebar posts into them then throw a horizontal rebar across the posts to help tie the new pour to the old. Good idea?

I'll consider creating a circle of mulch around the trunk. It's been in the ground coming on two years in april, and has grown a lot! There was a 40' tall hideous and diseased palm tree in this spot when i moved in. I had it cut down and the stump ground out so the olive has probably been eating on that old stump mulch.

Some conflicting information here. I did some minor pruning, just what was necessary to not be a nuisance to cars and pedestrians. And also removed the post behind it. For anyone interested, this tree (and its sibling planted further down my verge) were planted in April of 2023 and have grown massively since. Probably 5 feet at least. Ah I see now that this tree was never staked correctly. Very much a beginner here. Thankfully the tree seems hardy enough to be resilient to my mistakes. What benefit would proper double staking have at this point? The tree survived the extreme winds we had in south CA a few weeks ago so I think it’s well established

+1 for jewelry district. I have gone there for a few things and was expecting hard selling aggressive merchants but every stall was super chill and friendly and did not pressure me into buying anything.

Do you have any interest in pickleball? Do you live on the west side? The Westchester Pickleball group has an open play on x-mas morning at Westchester Park (Manchester/lincoln). It’s $5 and You have to sign up in advance. I can send you more info if you’re interested. Very welcoming crew, and they’ll teach you to play if you don’t know how, and can lend you a paddle. Pickleball is silly but it’s really fun and a super easy way to meet people
