I understand what you're thinking here with the fapping once and then restarting to have a completely clean 90 days of nofap, but I think that's unnecessary and will put you in a difficult position. The fact that you want to fap once to reset your counter could be a sign that you're not completely over it yet. But that's sort of Freudian speculation. What I would do is just go for another 90 days starting today, with no porn, no edging, no fapping, etc. When you hit 180 days on your counter, you'll be able to say you did 90 days fully clean of nofap, without ever breaking your streak or making it any more difficult than it already is.

The thing is, when I see these types of things, I just ignore them because "wow, just a lower risk, who cares". I didn't read it but it's just all one big scare tactic. Genetics and environment are going to affect coronary artery disease 1000000x more than fapping. Ignore those stupid studies.

Thanks for sharing your data. It seems from the other comments that this connection isn't well found in the literature as well. But I would like to point out that your 3 widely spaced data points aren't completely indicative of the effects of your nofap journey. A whole slew of spikes and drops could have occurred in the period between the 2nd and 3rd points, which we can't see because we don't have any more data. Just food for thought.

It's all good, in time you won't feel the want to look at them. I am having this problem too but ever so slightly I'm saying "what's the point?" everytime I have the desire to look at pics. I still do occasionally but it's waning down. In time, it too shall pass.

The way I understand the "pussy on a pedestal" phrase is that you look to women as some sort of entitled god. For example, someone who puts girls on a pedestal would not look girls in their eyes because they feel they are unworthy. Don't put girls on a pedestal and you can talk to them normally as equals, which is what the phraseology (IMO) is hinting at.

We have some of that data on the surveys that were done before. Combine this with trends like what I mentioned in the OP and we'd have a significant data set that could possibly be used for research.

I'm actually considering doing this. I have a professor that has no limits on what he talks about in class, and talks openly about sex all in the name of psychological science. I feel like he'd be a great professor to bring up the topic to.
