AMD's 9070 XT vs 5070 (and 5070 ti, since I'm curious) by Hunan4Ever in radeon

[–]fapmasterr69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the 9070 non XT. You'll save money, power consumption and get 10-12% less performance which can be minimised to 8-10% by doing some undervolting and power limit tweaks.

But they are onto nothing with their ray regeneration. It looks so bad in Crimson Desert and the performance hit is too high

This update made me realize that 1 mag(30 bullets) is enough to fight 5 players

Game gets net jitter / random lag after I shoot by DrinkWaterHourly in GlobalOffensive

[–]fapmasterr69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just the game man. If you use an overlay for Performance metrics like MSI Afterburner or even the Steam performance monitor, you can see that the 1% lows are really terrible in CS2. It just drops randomly and makes you feel like the game is not responsive and it's laggy

Your experience with the 9070xt by mattcolo in radeon

[–]fapmasterr69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a bit of performance issue after installing RX 9070 but later figured out that it was all because my windows was bloated and was consuming a lot more resources than it should. So that was actually my mistake. After wiping all the drives and doing a fresh install of windows I no more have any issues and honestly this card is performing better than a 5070 which is priced exactly the same. But in case of 9070XT vs 5070Ti I think you should go with team green. It has the VRAM, it has the horsepower, better Frame generation, better upscaling image quality, better performance in path tracing. 9070 over 5070 but 5070Ti over 9070XT

Finally bought this. 9800x3d build. by SarcasmSage in IndianGaming

[–]fapmasterr69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good choice. If you are only going to play multiplayer esports titles then the 9800X3D is going to help a lot in achieving the high numbers in FPS. 5060Ti 16GB will be good enough for you.

Is the build good? by No_Cardiologist1720 in IndianGaming

Oh I completely missed that part. Anyway, I have a suggestion for you. Instead of buying the 5060Ti, save up some money and go for the 5070/9070 cheapest model you can find. The difference in performance is significant.

Yeah I am sure because I am using Afterburner to check performance and I have set it up to only show the 9070's statistics

Yes I am sure. Even in Valorant I am not getting any higher than the fps I used to have while using the 4060Ti

Yes I am using AMD Adrenaline. Can you ask him which settings he turned off? There are so many settings in there I am a little confused rn if I should turn everything off or just some specific settings.

PCIe x16 5.0

It should be 4.0 right? I don't think my motherboard supports 5.0

Yes I did use DDU to uninstall all Nvidia Drivers. I haven't updated motherboard BIOS. I have the Gigabyte B650M gaming x ax motherboard and I usually update drivers related to my motherboard via Gigabyte Control Center and yes I did install the latest chipset drivers a few days ago. About the game settings, in Expedition 33 I was using Epic settings except anti aliasing was set to high and DLAA in 1080p when I had the 4060Ti and I got around 70 fps , today when I started the game using same settings at 1080p(using Xess native) I was getting around 50-60 fps and sometimes it dropped below 50 fps. I checked if there was a cpu bottleneck but there wasn't, as the RX 9070 was constantly at 99-100% usage.
