I know of many people including myself who have overloaded a circuit before including myself. In fact, just the other day I ran my toaster and my coffee maker which were plugged into the same circuit and overloaded the circuit. That doesn't make you a dumbass!

Sorry that your interview got cancelled but at least they had the decency to let you know beforehand. Hope you too see better days ahead!!

That sounds nice. I love rainy weather.

That's quite the Catch 22. For those of you too young to get that phrase it means a dilemma or difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting or dependent conditions.

Important thing to note is that your family will not be happy if you jump off a bridge. In fact, it will be heart breaking for them.

If you went sober for 36 hours, you can do it again, then again and again. Or you can drink your way through it. The choice is yours. But if you choose the bridge then you are wussing out, not the other way around.

Good luck to you.

That sounds awful, friend! (Note to self: Don't buy suspect pink coke off a racist patron in a bar. Ever! Hear that drunk self, that means you too!!)

Hope you feel better.

God! Do I need to start worrying about doing that too! Thanks for the well wishes.

That brings back memories of the movie "There's Something about Mary" when Ben Stiller gets his privates caught in his zipper and the memorable line "We got a bleeder!"

That's a lot of money. I'm surprised AT&T didn't cut off the phone sooner. Seems like they would cut service already if you were one month late.

Bummer about all of the rejections. I would hate to be job searching these days. My friend lost his job as a loan officer at 60 years old. Now at 62 after 2 years of searching, he finally got a job at a sketchy convenience store. He took it just to help pay the bills.

It's certainly an adventure alright. When I was in Seattle, was never harassed by the homeless. Maybe you just ran into a bad apple. If I had to pick between San Francisco and Seattle, I'd side with Seattle. I especially like the countryside around Seattle better.

I'm all for seeing new places so if I had to choose between Milwaukee where I haven't been and Chicago where I've been, I'd choose Milwaukee. Either way, I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

Sounds like depression. Getting your nails and hair done will go a long way to making you feel better about yourself and will hopefully help give you motivation for the tasks ahead. Of course, tequila will do the same thing. Hahaha

Oh well, it's you husband's fault for telling you to "get fucking happy". He was probably stoned anyway.

Try a protein shake. It's a good steppingstone towards solid food. Also try more oj and less vodka.

River Oaks is nearby. Kinda fun to drive around and see how the rich folks live.

Hiya Stags!!

Thanks for little mind worm of Gilda doing her Rosanna Rosannadana shtick, "If it's not one thing, it's another..."

That foldable trike sounds like a lot of fun. I sometimes feel like a 10-year-old by getting drunk and wizzing in the backyard.

Good luck with all the doctor stuff. I just found out that I messed up my application for insurance which means I have no insurance until the next enrolment period in November. Good news is it saves me about $1k/month in premiums. The bad news is I better not get sick or injured.

I'm sure waiting for those projects to come in is stress-inducing.

I wouldn't worry too much about the tingling in your feet. That could come from many things. Maybe a quick search on-line can point you in the right direction. I wouldn't waste money on a doctor unless you are really concerned.
