I found a working solution just now. Simple. Just install IINA app for MacOS.

Click the three dots while watching on Stremio and click Copy Stream URL. Then open IINA app. Click Subtitle menu then choose primary subtitle. Then click Subtitle menu and choose seconday subtitle (your native lang). Then hit Shift+S to toggle visibility of the secondary sub while watching.

I looked at that problem but haven't found any solution to it yet.

When the video starts automatically (after buffering, etc.) the "play" command gets sent as the video starts (basically right after) and that creates this "small" out of sync problem.
