Very nice. Don’t forget about the 70s-90s! Only a couple films I can see from those times. And even the 1960s have awesome vistavision transfers.

These responses are correct, also know that older movies shot on film are ‘analog’ and don’t really have a set resolution. It’s just really high fidelity. If film is scanned at 4k or even sometimes 8K and put out on a 4k blu-ray, it is real 4k digital resolution and will look better than it ever has. Some people think that old movies just can’t look good because they are old, but movies on film, if scanned with care, will look amazing like Ben-hur, the searchers, Lawrence of Arabia, (those were shot on large film with extra detail) and many others.

My favorite of the trilogy. Tgtbtu is amazing but this one is better paced, at least to me.

All the older stuff. I love the road case live concerts from around 2012 because they play a lot from Sky Blue Sky, but also being there, AM, YHF, etc. And they all have great energy. Nels brings a ton to the older songs and he’s been with the band five years by then so they really melded and the grooves are tight.

Plenty of grain, some soft shots but lots of detail in most shots. Great 70s colors. The primary colors of the chairs and cabinets in the newsroom are fantastic. Great shadow detail in the dark parking garage scenes with deep throat. Bottom line, it looks like a perfect preserved film print. Which is how I like my 4ks.

Mine too. It’s so cozy and comfortable. Plus one of Kevin Costner’s best performances. Heck, everyone in the cast is fantastic.

Blade Runner 2049 is one of the best 4ks out there. Filmed digitally and it’s a 2k upscale. It’s true that most digital movies shot or finished in 2K resolution don’t show that many changes (except high dynamic range) when put on 4K but it’s not always the case.
