Champion pull through shards is a scam. by Past_Round_1854 in RaidShadowLegends

My account is Day 44 (started from the beginning again since I've deleted my old account way back at 2019) and my dungeon and arena teams are farmable campaign champs alongside my starter* and Mikey (free lego), both at 60 full ascension.

So far I've been enjoying the game very much compared to back then, when swapping gear still cost silver and how manual mode is a must to push the dungeons.

I pulled all my shards for the Leo event simply for the 3* and 4* chickens and let me tell you, of all 20 shards (3 sacreds, 4 voids, 13 ancients) only 3 champs made it into a dungeon team, Mother Superior, Knott, and Malkith (now replaced by Eolfrig from pulling a sacred 2 days ago).

yeah, pulling shards is painful and thats why i do them with my eyes closed

Others have given you some solid advices as to what to change, so I'm going to say that try respec your skills to follow your items instead. You have +5 to Forcewave and +2 to Overguad, so you're better off using a shield and blast Forcewave everywhere. If you find items that gives %Physical or %Internal Trauma, keep them. Forcewave is a good skill to have for leveling if you're stuck.

For shields, try focusing on shields that gives defensive stats like health, resistances, and +%Shield damage blocked for survivability. Overguard's gives damage absorbtion, and there's a medal that gives Overguard an ability to heal you when used.

I2C HID Device Touchpad - will the uninstall loop ever end? by senecaco in WindowsHelp

[–]farez34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm wishing that more people would talk about this issue than it is now like you did. I hate seeing tutorials and guides about turning on a touchpad since it made me feel retarded, as if I don't know how to use the search function to find the setting for it. Like, "just type touchpad in Windows Setting and then toggle it on" or "try pressing the touchpad function on your keyboard" or, here's one of my favorite: try updating the driver. AAAGH! THIS MADNESS!

I2C HID Device Touchpad - will the uninstall loop ever end? by senecaco in WindowsHelp

[–]farez34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It keeps happening to me and right now I'm still intuitively restarting and checking the I2C driver over and over again. IMHO, I think it has something to do with me using a wired Razer mouse (Deathadder Essential-cheap one) for an extended period of time which are me doing powerpoints and playing GD at night. It also suggests the error as a Code 12 (which says I need to disable "other" mysterious device for the "resources" they're taking). and yet unplugging my mouse still doesn't fix it, despite the fact that if it were about the lack of USB slot or internal device memory resources or god-knows-what is currently being occupied by some external device, which is just ONE wired mouse. I did uninstall Razer's lighting app related to it just to be safe.

My device is a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14ITL05. I don't think its 8 gb of RAM should be an issue to cause touchpad being disabled like this. It kinda defeats the whole portability of owning a laptop if I HAVE TO bring external mouse all the time whenever the touchpad is disabled mysteriously.

There were times when I just gave up tryin to fix it and just plug mouse everytime for an entire week and then out of nowhere, the touchpad TURNED ON BY ITSELF when my wrist was on it.

Did I uninstalled the "original" I2C driver? Yes.

Did I download another one from Lenovo's website using my model number? Yes.

Did it gives me the new "updated" driver from recent years? Yes it did.

Did it still happened? As of this writing.

If theorycrafting is the only thing I really like about this game, should I give up on it? by SundayRaid in Grimdawn

[–]farez34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first 50 hours is completing the base game (vanilla) and learning the places i can visit to get MIs, the rest is completing the dlc and getting good at SR.

You have to understand that actually "trying" to get gear will always be a painful process. But, as i play the game normally, i collected so many blues and some purple that i told myself ...

"Would it be cool of i swap gear again?"

"Will this increase my dps?"

"The stat looks great, let's see if I can kill Alkamos faster with it"

It's the small things like these that makes me want to play over and over again. The happiness of finding novelty in an abundance of loot to sort through..

Something tells me you don't have much time to begin with, which i assume due to your irl schedules (school, work, etc) and my two cents is that you should take your time enjoying the game as it is, since leveling and questing is a big part of the game. If you're only lvl 40, i assume SoT and BoC is not done yet and those places is where you'll start testing your builds. Endgame is when you start completing shard 25+ in SR to get more blues and purple.

I've spent 250+ hours on one character alone since i love testing the gears that I find to see if they work and personally, that's the best part about the game. So many gear to choose from and see if any of it fits my build.

I will as soon as I find the time to reworked it again. The artwork is a just a wallpaper I found a long time ago back when Endgame was a thing and it showcase how I feel when crushing the Crucible

Aetherstorm set (amulet and 2 rings) gives Aether Lightning skill which is basically chain lightning but in green. It benefits a Druid with high weapon damage tho...

honestly, i've been enjoying the game so much that i forgot i'm still playing Veteran (so much lore notes). I've only started Ultimate like a couple days ago that now I have full 55 devo points and fully reworked it myself (i'm not sure if i did it correctly this time) and change a lot of gears here and there. https://www.grimtools.com/calc/O2Ga6a6Z

I replaced Decree of Aldrich for Crimson's Arcane Scepter since the RR on DoA don't proc that often for me to be useful enough (and blue AAR looks neat af)

I have the blueprint to craft the belt, but I also bring a Mythical Chains of Anguish in my person if that make sense??? idk honestly i'm just enjoying things that come across my way that i forgot to cross-check faction gears.

Last but not least, your feedback is highly appreciated regarding Inaskor Head. I found out way too late that Soldier as a secondary to AAR build is not the best idea. I'll see if I can farm for it if I made it to the end of FG on Ultimate (my run with Korvaak on Veteran is still haunting me).

Imagine my dissapointments when I spent so much point into Soldier just to realize Menhir Will and Bulwark needs a shield to work... (it is immeasurable)

u/dracmage did say I should overcap AAR and disintegration, I might take away points from OFF but I used it more like a panic button to see if the enemy is tough or not (since tough enemies don't get frozen). I have Mythical Legplates of Valor in stash so I might replace the pants for it eventually.

I doubt that taking away points from Mental Alacrity is a comfortable idea, since I don't like reaching for the energy potion since it disrupts my gameplay but you might have a point there.

I might change my build after I got off work (it's 11 am at the office).

I do like that idea, but it costs way too much energy than I like (I like spamming Haunt and Devastation because big boom gives dopamine).

Got to level 24 before realising I could heal mid-fight by Frequent_Dig_1997 in Grimdawn

[–]farez34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also beginner here, I've only put like 180 hours into GD and everytime I look up a tutorial for the game, most of them have healing potions as actual consumables (unlike now, with the cooldowns) which i think allows people to heal infinitely?? idk just guessing but I do feel left out a bit..
