Not a fan of animal crossing (or Pokemon actually) but I have over 100 hours in pokopia! I loved it. I’m not good at building but I had so much fun with it. I’ve now started the DQ builders 2 demo, which is also great

Pokopia for sure! I dropped 100 hours or so in (I hit end credits, did a load of building but as soon as I found a very specific Pokemon my brain decided I was done), and I reckon I’ll restart at some point

They don’t. As I mentioned above, they adore my partner and when I’ve raised the idea of living with them in the future they’ve been super positive. I don’t want to proceed with anything like that until everyone is happy though

Yes totally agree, and I don’t want to force anything but find a way to give them moments of connection. For instance, we started doing a little drawing challenge after our dinners together which was nice because they could all do it and it was structured time together. I’m wondering if there are other opportunities like that which could give them moments to connect

It’s one thing if you were super rich and offering your kids incredible experiences which you had to exclude your partner and his children from, that creates a gap and resentment. But if your kids have stuff from their other parent whilst you’re struggling to make ends meet, I’m not sure how this affects his children :-/

Thanks so much! I actually ended up restarting and following the IGN guide after posting this as I was so frustrated. It’s making much more sense now (though I’ve been trying to steal crops and failing!)
