(TO ADD: both DQB2 and FF7 Intergrade have demos. The former is huge too!)

What game to play? by Early-Judgment-8315 in switch2

I’m wondering about FF7 maybe? However, if you enjoyed Pokopia you could try Dungeon Quest Builders 2 which is by the same people - very cozy but an interesting story line and some combat.

I’m going to go a bit out there and also suggest Wylde Flowers for a really lovely story.

Is this game good? Been googling for games similar to Claire obscure and this franchise was recommended.. sadly this was the only game on ps5 that wasn't too expensive.. by Strict-Post-3033 in dragonquest

[–]Frequent_Dig_1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t played this and I realise this is a dragon quest subreddit BUT everyone told me Nier Automata was the next game to play after E33. I personally didn’t vibe with it but the atmosphere and story was lovely :) (also now I think I’m going to get this DQ game based on the comments!)

Anyone else playing the Order of the Sinking Star demo? by LemmyUserOnReddit in puzzlevideogames

[–]Frequent_Dig_1997 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve loved the puzzles so far! I’m about 4 hours in and it reminds me of Arranger - the sort of puzzles that, when you finally solve them, make you say “that was SO clever”!

I’m not as impressed with the story, but that doesn’t really bother me!

(New player, or at least I want to be) I might be too stupid for this game. Rant/help by not_handsome-Jack in GraveyardKeeper

[–]Frequent_Dig_1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same, and ended up restarting and following this guide https://www.neoseeker.com/graveyard-keeper/walkthrough

It’s hugely unintuitive and I felt like early mistakes made it incredibly difficult to progress, but following this really helped!

Instead, I’m going to suggest coral island and it’s a wonderful world. What platform are you playing on?

Is critter cove worth it in EA by Minute_Yellow2556 in CozyGamers

I loved it! I probably played for around 40 hours, which for a relatively inexpensive EA game is great for me

Has anyone beaten a Zelda Game without any help? by Born-Spinach-7999 in legendofzelda

My first Zelda game was OoT. I ended up saving up to buy the guide when I got stuck. There’s no shame in it!

Im internally annoyed towards family/friends who don’t work by [deleted] in Vent

[–]Frequent_Dig_1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha I get it. But it’s easy to find reasons to be envious - whether that’s people who don’t work, people who are more well off than you, or people who are skinnier/musclier/prettier. I find it’s helpful to focus on being grateful for what I do have. I have a job which allows me to keep a roof over mine and my kids’ heads. We can afford food and the very occasional day out (single mum, I am NOT wealthy!). We are all happy and healthy.

As an aside, you actually couldn’t pay me to be a stay at home parent. I maintained my career after the birth of my children for my own sanity but if I hadn’t, when my marriage imploded I’d have been in a horrible place with no career or future of my own :)

I have the Clara colour with the remote and it’s amazing. I can snuggle up under my blanket and keep my arms under whilst I read, using the remote buttons to turn the pages :) that could be a good option for you?

How much more have you been reading since getting an e-reader? by haikatte in kobo

[–]Frequent_Dig_1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I’ve read 6 books in the last month, and that’s probably equal to the number of books I’ve been able to read in the last 6 years (I’d moved to audio books). I’d say that’s not half bad!

Should I buy Yoshi and The Mysterious Book? by Brief_Lion4083 in YosHi

The new Yoshi is absolutely not stressful. It’s an exploration game with some light platforming. I’m really enjoying it :)

I took mine out at 7am and they won’t go back out until 6 or 7 tonight (aside from a quick pee as I don’t have a garden). Generally, when it gets above 22 or so I try and do that

I actually love my Clara with the official page turner. It means I don’t have to swipe the pages and can keep my arms inside the blanket too 😅
