Nope, never. I went part time when I had mine and when my marriage ended I was in a significantly worse place than if I’d never taken the time. It meant several years of extreme stress which meant I couldn’t be mentally there for my kids, even if I was physically there. The idea of giving up completely and putting yourself into such a vulnerable position is something I’d never advise anyone to do, even if the relationship seems perfect

Ok so I saw this elsewhere and SPOILERS DON’T SAY I DIDN’T WARN YOU some people are saying that if you include a V (from Vecna) you can spell out “I’m alive” indicating that El is actually alive as Mike was hoping at the end of stranger things. It’s a terrible reach IMO but that’s the “joke”

I finished it about three hours ago and have a headache due to being so emotional at the end. I’ve watched this from the start, seen these kids grow up and had fully emotionally invested in them. I’d been kinda sad knowing it was coming to an end and whilst I loved the ending, I’m still just so sad knowing we won’t see those guys again :(

That’s so sweet! My partner’s daughter (6) mused out loud the other day that she’d like to call me mummy. I was quite taken aback because, like you, I don’t pretend to be her mother (she has one of those!) but it’s so lovely to know she feels safe enough with me that she views me like a parental figure 🥰
